Arguably the most effective lump hammer I have ever had the pleasure to swing. Makes short work of any task a lump hammer is suitable for, one swing of this equals 2 swings of any other lump hammer of a similar weight. I wouldn't recommend this for the apprentice or anyone that's new too using hammers as it requires decent technique and wrist strength to get the most out of it. Superb quality. Superb swing economy. Will last longer than me 👌

Great hammer for knocking in steel pins. Wasn’t sure when I felt it out of the box, as with all lumps it feels very top heavy - but it has to be. Its hefty - but as long as you have the wrist strength to lift it repeatedly; the weight of the head does the work. Nice balanced feel during the swing and hits with a reassuringly solid feel. Being all metal will never break - tho it’s not immune to getting lost on site or nicked by someone who fancies the look of it over their cheapy standard lump hamper - so keep it safe!!

Estwing, what more can you say, superb quality, don’t buy cheaper, buy the best.

Good solid hammer will last a life time. Only thing for me was the chamfuers on the hammer head are quite large. I prefer a more square profile on the hammer head, but it's personal preference.

Perfect for every occasion, I use it all the time.

This is a lifetime tool, expensive but worth every penny as it will be in your toolbox for life

A solid piece of American steel that would go through anything you want. Great shock absorption of the handle. This is my second Estwing hammer and I can confidently say that they are the best hammers you can get.
