Portable 4 Way Insertion Counterfeit Bill Detector&Counter

The machine is easy to use, came with batteries already. I hadn’t noticed any glitches. I used it for few days already in our small business store and it worked perfect- quick and easy and potentially saving me from getting some fake cash. Highly recommended. It is worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my father who runs a small business and has been scammed before with fake bills. I knew he would be skeptical so I tested it out first to make sure it works and I think he's going to love it! I have no fake currency to try it with, but I do have some bills from other countries which it doesn't identify so you can see what happens when a bill is rejected.Here's what I love:FAST: This thing is lightening fast. Just watch the video! If you have a lot of bills to run through, it will help you count and keep track of them and do it really quickly!EASY: This thing couldn't be easier to use, which is important because my dad HATES reading user manuals. This comes with one, but I love that you don't need it. It's so intuitive. You can put the bill in any direction you like!PORTABLE: This is really important for his business, but not needing a place to plug this in is a really big deal. It came ready to go out of the box! I'm not yet sure how long a charge lasts but I played with it for about 20 minutes straight out of the box and it worked great!UPDATABLE: This is really important as currency changes regularly to stay ahead of counterfeiters. You can easily plus this in to your computer and update the software periodically which is great.It has a lot of other strengths as well, such as the fact that the back lighting (which is a great feature) shuts off on its own after a few minutes of inactivity to save battery, the fact that it handles multiple currencies and has different modes for operation that are changed with the push of a button. There is only one drawback I've noticed. On the box it says that it can handle just about any currency in the world, however it only has two modes on the actual machine (USD and Euro) and it did not recognize my Croatian Kuna or my Thai Baht. The manual says nothing about what specific currencies this does or does not recognize which I think is a disappointment, however, for my dad's needs it will be perfect! Just be aware that if you need it for currencies besides Euro and USD, it may or may not work. All in all I love this thing and think it will pay for itself very quickly! I highly recommend this for small business owners who deal with a lot of cash.

If the bill is inserted even a little off straight the machine will not verify it is good. Sometimes it takes 4-5 tries for the bill to go in straight.

The one I just purchased did not work! I put in a real hundred dollar bill and it rejected on my first, second, third, fifth attempt! But then it started to pass. I turned it off and tried it again and it did the same thing. I've gave it one more try and this time the bill came stuck and the roller belt did not turn off and I had to manually take the battery out for it to stop because nothing will make it stop!

Great this helped me on late nights counting money and also detecting any suspicious one.

Price point seems high, but does what it is suppose to do. Sometimes it can be a bit temperamental and rejects the bill, you have to try again making sure it is not inserted at an angle, flipping it over or inserting in a different direction to make it accept the bill. Which means if you have a stack of bills to count, it will take a long time so be patient as you have to insert one by one. Haven't tried it with non-USD currency, but do not see any way in the settings to switch to foreign currencies.
