Easy to adjust
Does what it's meant to do, easy to adjust for other paper sizes and seems sturdy so should do its job for a long time.

Exactly what my planner needed
At the time of writing this review I've punched thousands of sheets, accuracy, alignment and cut quality are all perfect. Punches through far more sheets than you'd expect. Highly recommend.

Versatile and Functional
This punch seems to be quite efficient. I do not have a Filofax organizer, so have specific requirements as to spacing. For me each group of three holes have a spacing of 19mm which is the same as Filofax. But the gap between the sets of three holes is 61mm rather than the 50mm for Filofax, so I have to punch each set of three holes separately. I do this by aligning the paper to a custom mark on the base and punching the first set before turning the paper over, aligning to the mark, and then punching the second set of holes. This may be fiddly, but it works and there is no other punch at this price point (others that could be adjustable to my spacing cost triple this punch). This same procedure could be used to punch Filofax A5 paper. For Filofax Pocket and Personal this punch is already set up to punch all six holes in one operation. I think that this punch, at this price point, is very functional.

Quality - punches above its weight for the price.
Very well made and should last a lifetime. Adjustment is easy and positive. This is the one to get if you want to punch A5. All other Filofax sizes are possible, reference marks for each type being clearly marked. It would be perfect if there was a moveable stop to reference the paper when doing quantity - although it's easy enough to stick a stop temporarily on the body to ensure accuracy.

They're right, you know....
I bought this to use with both personal and A5 size Filofaxes (why is my life so disorganised when I have two Filofaxes? Or did I just answer my own question? I digress..... ) It works fine with the personal size paper and it WILL work with A5, but there's a knack to it: There are two sets of three punches which are adjustable. You have to move one set of punches slightly inwards and have the other as close to the edge as it will go. (This will make sense if you have one and look at it, I promise!) Then you have to slide the A5 paper in along half its length so that you only punch three holes, and then flip the paper over and insert it again and punch the other three holes. It's fiddly, but it works once you've got the spacing right. If you have a lot of paper to punch to fit into your A5 Filofax I would think it's probably not worth the hassle, but if you have just a few now and then this is cheaper than the Filofax own brand hole punch - which, to be fair, I haven't tried. There is a Rapsco 6 hole punch which has a sliding plastic guide for the paper and swapping the paper over and doing three holes at a time is much easier on that, but I've lost mine and the product I'm reviewing here is not the same. To be fair I got an email from the company that sells this product warning that it was not suitable for A5. I replied that I was expecting to have to turn the paper over and punch it twice and asked them to let me know if it wasn't possible and they didn't, because it is - at a push. I've given the product three stars because it's fine for what it does, but it really should be possible for a company like Rapesco to come up with something that does everything you'd want it to.

I bought this punch as I saw lots of good reviews and it seemed so simple to use
I bought this punch as I saw lots of good reviews and it seemed so simple to use. I had some lovely planner inserts which I had bought and wanted to punch with a 6-hole punch. This punch totally messed up my inserts! There is a line, where you line up the edge of your paper and punch, flip and repeat. Seems simple? WRONG! The line is not accurate and I kept trying over and over again and it did not line up correctly. I had to do keep doing it and living up my paper against inserts which were already in my planner. This took some time. I made a new line which I assumed would solve the problem. NO! It did not. Guess what - the moveable punches moved after a few punches, so I had to keep pushing them back after each use as it kept moving inwards. In the end I got so frustrated with this punch that I gave up and purchased a BIND T 6001 System 6-hole punch. The bind one might be over twice the price, but believe me, it is worth EVERY penny! I have had no problems with this one and I am delighted with it. Please spend the extra money getting the better quality one, and don't waste your money, time and precious paper! Rapesco 1725 - Exactly what I needed for A5 pages
I looked at the reviews for this item for a few days before I decided to place my order. Many of the reviews suggested that if I wanted to use the hole punch for A5 planner pages, then it would be very fiddly as I would have to punch each of the 2 sets of 3 holes individually. It is clear to me now that there is a lot of confusion about whether this punch will or will not allow you to punch A5 sheets without faff. THERE ARE TWO PUNCHES FOR SALE IN THIS PAGE. The smaller punch DOES NOT punch A5 easily BUT the larger one DOES punch A5 and it is REALLY easy to do so. PLEASE, if you are looking for a punch that works for Pocket, Mini, A6, Personal AND A5, get the LARGER punch. Which is the Larger Punch? It is the Rapesco 1725, NOT the Rapesco PF66P0B1.

Works well, its a nice punch. I assumed that it could punch all six at once for a planner but the spacing doesn't work for that. But that was my error so I'm still leaving a 5 star review.

and the only one I would ever consider buying

Ravie !!!
