We now do knife fighting every night, though usually it is just him with the knifes and I have to defend myself. He also plays with them with his neighborhood friends as well as his 7 and 5 year old sisters, and 2 year old brother. They are good at being soft enough to vigorously stab with, and yet still bend back to shape for the most part (you might need to flex it a bit). The point was a little too pointy for my liking with little kid eyeballs and all. To fix that, I ran the tip on some sand paper, but concrete would also file it down a bit too. It made it a rounded dull nub, and a bit safer. Other than that, perfect. I think both of us are learning how to deal with someone with a knife much better, and also how to handle a knife as a weapon better. A+

We used these for stage knives in a theatre production and they were terrific. If you bend them too severely, they will stay slightly bent, so warn your actors to be careful.

Not sure what me and my partner were expecting when we decided we were going to spar together in the living room and ordered these essentially, fake knives. Came in the mail and It was very underwhelming as they the knives are basically like a children's toy. I guess I was expecting a material, more substantial and rubber. Something with a little more weight to it. We might as well just use chalk or markers at this point. It's been sitting in the junk drawer. If anybody is wondering, yes, we did spar with these knives anyway and I won.
