There's not a lot more to say.My wife has a card machine and we tried these, both with this card directly next to a payment card whilst tapping it on the card reader and Whitham this card just slotted into our wallet/purse and no payments were able to be made.Once you're using one, you'll never know for sure that it's doing its job until you get skimmed because if you don't, either no-one tried or this card prevented someone from doing so but for £3, it's not worth the risk.

I recently read an article about the growing problem of contactless cards being illegally scanned by cheap scanning devices available online. Once scanned they can then be repeatedly falsely charged to the maximum charge direct to your accounts. On checking, I now have five contentless cards in my wallet so my thinking is it not worth the risk of not being protected with this easy solution just in case. This product was one of the simplest and neatest product I found. You just place in your wallet with your cards and it claims to screen and block any attempt to read the contactless information on your cards so no charge can be made against your accounts. I can not prove if it is, in fact, blocking as there are no outward signals to show activation, so the only time you might find out is if you catch anybody directly trying to read your cards which is highly unlikely as I doubt that they would be that obvious. So buying and using this product is based on belief and trust, but reading other reviews and opinions I am confident it will do its job. Apparently, you could just wrap all your cards in kitchen foil to have the same protection, but I ask you how convenient is that? so this type of easy solution is far better and for a small cost could save you being robbed of a great deal more... gotta be worth the investment in my view!

Have had this in my wallet facing outwards since I was scammed a few years ago, travel the London underground regularly and have never had money scimmed off my cards. If its this card preventing that or just been lucky I'm not sure bit cant fault it.

This is an excellent piece of security , so easy to use ,this card is for blocking criminal devices used to extract information from credit and debit cards, the cyber devices they use can locate wherever you're Card is on you ,when you are out using it and you will be totally unaware , they just piont it at you to locate the card then it syphones the information from it and they make a copy of your card then use it on contactless devices .But with this Blocking card it blocks there signal ,so they can't extract the information from it . All you do is put the one blocking card in your purse or wallet in between your cards and it will protect all the cards on either side of it . So at least you know when in your purse or wallet they are all protected with the blocking card.

What a brilliant idea! I have struggled with various designs of RFID-blocking card holders and ended up either ditching them, losing them (usually leaving them on a counter in a shop or bank), or with them falling to bits. They've all been a tremendous faff and I've spent a fair bit of money replacing them.RFID-blocking wallets are all very well, but they're heavier than a regular wallet and there isn't much choice, particularly if you don't want black or leather.So, on the hunt yet again for a card holder, I was intrigued by the Attenuo device. After reading Proud Grandparents' review saying that s/he had tested the Attenuo's RFID-blocking capabilities and found they worked, I bought the Attenuo device instead of a replacement card holder.It works! I'm highly impressed - and relieved that I neither have to change my wallet (which I like, which works well for me - and is in an excellent shade of dark green) nor have to waste any more money on fiddly and easily-lost card holders.So I'm back on here to buy another Attenuo device because already a friend has asked for one to go in the new wallet I've bought her for Christmas.Highly recommended - and far cheaper than buying a new wallet or lots of those wretched little card holders.

Based on one outing into town to test the ATTENUO in my wallet containing only one credit card at the self service checkout, it worked - the reader saying multiple cards were present and to try scanning again. Removed the ATTENUO from behind my CC and the payment was made. Also having read reviews for cheaper versions of these cards before buying, where door security scanners were being set off, I went into a number of different types of shop without incident. Cheaper than the £18 replacement RFID wallet I was considering, plus because the ATTENUO is positioned in the middle of all my cards it will work even with a wallet open, which the RFID wallets don't as far as I am aware. As to wether, someone trying to scan your wallet with multiple cards in (without the ATTENUO in there), would get a clear signal to copy or a confused jumble of signals I don't know, but at least the Bank can not complain I haven't tried to secure my cards from this potential fraud.

Perfect, highly recommended, by no means is this flimsy, like some on the market, it’s quality and fits in amongst your credit/debit cards, tried and tested at a checkout, it does work!Just the ticket when travelling light with just the essentials, Exactly what I needed to fit in my small phone/card body bag (pictured)Bought one for my partner also, very impressed with how well it blocks card readers.Keep it close and don’t fall victim to a pickpocket or two… Sadly there’s lots of them out there!! 😠
