I’m always skeptical about luminescent dials, and was about this. That was not the selling point, as this clock sits on a wall that has enough light, even at night, to read the dial. I like the dial, with large hands and indices.However, the glow in the dark still works. Maybe because the clock is exposed to natural light almost all daylight hours. Clock's accurate, and a good deal for the price. I’d recommend it.

Had to replace an old Fossil Clock but didn't want to spend the money. This one was the closest. It's silent and stays running on time. The glow effect could be more exaggerated, but it's fine for the cost.

This clock is very quiet. The time is displayed in the dark. The size of the numbers are big and easy to see day and night. I really like this clock and it tells time accurately. I will recommend this Clock, It is great quality for the price.

The clock is thin, so doesn't take up much space on the wall. However, the glow in the dark portion only works if there is bright direct light. The ceiling fan light is not sufficient to keep the numbers lit up for long.

Clock receives sunlight the entire day, but the claimed visibility at night is zero.I am going to keep it, anyway, because I need a clock on that specific wall.

12 inch round. Has a nice walnut background and large numbers that are easy to read. The nighttime illumination is really nice.

The only way this illuminates like the picture shows it to place the clock where it will get direct sunlight. I have mine in my home office where just the natural house light and at times a ceiling fan light will be on. It barely glows green. It is nice looking and does keep the time.

Actually got this clock for a friend and she seems to have a hard time grasping the concept. Lord knows she needed this kind of clock: Big digits, glow in the dark hands AND digits, but she never understood she had to let it charge up either with open windows, or maximum office lights for at least 30 minutes to be useful. Still she loves it. Also seems to be battery efficient.
