Nice camera
Update:The picture quality has quickly degraded and is washed out. Night sensitivity is non existent. I have reached out to the seller and will update this review if they make it right.Second update:I contacted Allen at Natika about the problem. He quickly sent me a replacement camera that works perfectly. I will stress that the original camera worked properly in the beginning but failed later. Leading me to believe that Natika has good quality control and that the failure of the first camera was due to a faulty component. In all fairness, it couldn't have been detected until the unit was in use. I would purchase this camera again. The first one I bought did not work. The second one was the upgraded version and this works very nicely as a front view camera. The small size allowed me to mount it to my rear view mirror so it is virtually out of sight. The picture in bright sunlight is slightly washed out but still adequate. It has a super wide angle so it sees both sides of the road. I will most likely buy another for a backup camera in the future.

Best Backup Camera Company
I purchased this to see how it would do and I was shocked at the quality of the image, the actual product itself, and the low light capabilities. I used to work at two different dealerships so I've seen my fair share of backup cameras and the quality of the image during the day and at night, but honestly this camera does better. The only thing this does not do is curve the lines when you turn the wheel but honestly I never used the lines to guide myself, they weren't fully accurate, just set universally for all vehicles from the manufacturer. When I installed this product, I did it at night. Before I tested it, I looked up at the sky and barely could see clouds but when I saw the image from this camera on my head unit, I could see the clouds clearly. The image on this is very clear in day and night, and I've used other aftermarket cameras, none of which had the night vision this does. The housing for the camera is metal which just feels very solid and the mounting is easy to do, while the screw that keeps the camera from moving does a good job at holding it in place. You can mount this in a lot of different ways and the cables that come with the camera are exceptionally long, longer than what you'll need for most vehicles. You could probably install this on a bus without needing to extend the cables. The instructions on what to cut to get rid of the lines is straight-forward and there is no mismatch on information such as the wires being a different color.Natika responds very quickly to emails too so you don't have to wait days or weeks to hear back from them which is rare. They got back to me within an hour after my email was sent. This product has been on my car across the US, been exposed to a pressure washer dozens of times, been in freezing temps and left out in the sun during 110 degree days for hours, and been on some really rough terrain yet the camera has survived it all. Just wipe off the lens and it's back to showing a clear image.I highly recommend Natika cameras for setting up a backup camera system and front-facing camera system.

Good for the price - caveat to European car owners
Pros:This is a good quality camera with excellent night time display and great daytime display. Image quality overall is above average once I had all the wiring done correctly. Cables are more than long enough for normal car lengths and hooks up easily. The metal bracket on the camera looks flimsy in the picture, but is actually well built in hand. Adjustment screws tighten firmly by itself and probably even better with a dab of loctite.Cons:Fish-eye image takes some getting use to at first but does create a wider view.Being too near the red taillight brakes when it's on will have the red light color get washed into the image.I wish ALL aftermarket camera manufacturers and vendors would either have a warning or instructions for buyers that have European cars with pulsing signal in their taillights causing images to either flicker with interference, fade or just plain stop the camera from showing up on their screen. This applies to ALL European vehicles such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, etc...that uses the PWM signals for their light check system. An inline noise filter (basically a capacitor) is needed to be bought and installed separately to smooth out the crazy voltage modulations when tapping into the reverse taillights. Both the trigger wire and the camera positive (+) wire will need to be filtered to address the screen interference issue.

it is buggy for old version, bad image quality for new version
I have bought two NATIKA wd-007s cameras and installed it on two different cars/displays. Image quality and viewing angles is very good, but on both cars I have the same issue - sometimes camera won't turn on. Voltage and reverse lights is OK. If I put my finger close enought to the lens (even not touching it) it wakes up and show the picture and working till next power off/on or moon cycle. I'm very dissapointed.Update:Hi,I have intalled replacement camera that seller sent me instead of wd-007s wich have issue with direct sunlight. The new camera don't have that kind of problems.Sad thing is the image quality wich is unspeakable bad, camera can't make things clear with one meter distance. So now I have regrets about wasted time and money. Need search for replacement with other brand.

Faulty and bad service from Amazon
I have the same problem with this camera as some other reviewers. It flashes every so often, like it’s cutting out the video feed briefly. It does this every minute or two. It’s quite distracting. It also creates a dim/dark picture during the day. I’ve tried contact the seller twice with no response. I wanted a good camera for this price. I should have bought a cheap one.
