It does the job

Purchase of a Wilton vise was considered (BUY AMERICAN) until I noticed it was also made in China as is the subject vise. I used to sell Wilton vises in the 70's. They are great heavy duty vises. However, they are now both made in China. If you are an occasional user (couple of times a week) this vise will do everything the Wilton version would. For everyday business industrial use, I would still go with the Wilton. Although both vises are smooth operating, Wilton is a bit better.
