Divided container has nice size spaces!
I bought this container because of the size and number of the interior subdivided spaces. The interior spaces, per manufacturer’s specs, are roughly (1.4” x 1” x 1/2”D), while many other divided container cubbies are smaller, roughly (8” x .8” x 1/2”.) I prefer the larger size spaces to work my paint brushes. This container has 24 interior spaces.Do note, though, that although the rubber lid DOES fit the container, and it can be removed easily, it is not a sealed, airtight fit. As I plan to use this container for dried gouache, this is what I prefer, as I want my paints to dry out and not hold moisture. Most of the time I will leave the lid off.For travel or plein air painting, I will secure the lid with rubber bands and put it in a ziplock bag.

Game Changer!
I have been looking for this little gem since I started watercolor painting. Just to test it out if mixed 8 variations of a color to use in my art journal. This kept my paint in perfect condition for literally days….over a week. It is small so storage is convenient and cleaning it was so easy. I just let it soak in soapy hot water then rinsed and dry. This is a great buy I 2 thumbs up recommend. The only little hiccup I found was the lid is rubber so it doesn’t clamp down tight so if you knock it off a table it is going to be a mess. Still for the price and functionality it’s a great deal.

not airtight, but good storage for paints that can air dry
I'm using these to store some watercolor paint I de-panned (Twinkling H2O, which comes in ridiculous round jars which are impossible to store and fussy to use) and they work perfectly for that. My only complaint with this product is that the lid does not snap on tightly at all- this is definitely not a palette that can be turned upside down or thrown in a bag unless the contents are COMPLETELY dry, and even then, if there's any crumbling (which watercolor and gouache can do, especially if there's just a thin layer going up the sides) it will end up in the other colors and in your bag. For me, it's not an issue since they are stored on a shelf in an art studio, but I was a little surprised at the tops. It's kind of a benefit, though, because the particular paint I am using should dry out between use so now I don't have to worry about doing that. But if you are using a medium you want to keep fluid, this is not an airtight palette by any means. I think the real benefit of this palette are the deep, large wells (very generous- can definitely get larger brush in there) and the fact they are absolutely distinct from one another, so no contamination from one well to the next.I got two of these, and both lids were loose fitting, so either I got a bad batch or the definition of "air tight" isn't what I think it is (I'm used to the Mijello palettes that have rubber gaskets around the hard tops and snap tightly shut, and even those aren't completely air tight."

Absolutely works!
I’ve had my gouache in this container since I got it, well over a month ago, and it’s still wet and ready to use. The lid doesn’t snap on, it’s soft, so if I was going to travel with it I’d probably add a rubber band or something around it just to be safe. But it definitely works and I’m super satisfied!

great paint keeper
I have tried sooo many different paint saver systems, but this one seems to be the best in keeping paint from drying/curing. It also the easiest to open and close with out being a pain in the butt to line up for a solid seal.I am using it for oil paint and so far it is keeping my paints nice and workable and seperate. It has just enough spots for my basic colors and some special colors I like to use.

The top is very flimsy.
Fine if you want to use it in a studio, not a good idea to take it with you. Might work if you place a hard top on it like a board cut to the shape and use bungee cords or rubber bands to hold it down. But the second problem is thin groves dividing the chambers are thin if you work messy they will foul up in no time. I don't know why the top wasn't designed where the lid didn't insert more into each pot and deeper than it does. Not an ideal product for any but a very neat artist planning to use it in a studio. Cheap but at a price of convenience.

Very handy for crafting
Super nice, lid fits well and I know I will get a lot of use out of this as well.

Pretty good in my opinion!
Great purchase for me personally. If you’re careful and use it often the paint won’t dry quickly but over time if not used the paint inside will dry. The cover is fairly thin and will come off easily if dropped or anything like that. I have not had any serious issue with it and holds my acrylic paints perfectly :) and it doesn’t hurt that the brush is pretty decent quality too. (The brush that it comes with is not in the picture)
