Worked great as a safety strap. Allows us to hook the leash to the dogs prong collar while still hooking the leash to the dogs harness. The prong collar has detached a couple of times and this ensures the dog is still attached to the leash when this occurs.

This is the perfect solution for an added level of security when walking your dog on a prong collar. I have had my dogs' prong collar release on several occasions. Luckily, each time I was able to get them back easily but one of these times I knew I was not going to be so lucky. I started looking around and found these two clips. I wasn't sure, but for the price I decided it was worth a try. I have just used them when walking my 2 70+lb labradors and I felt so much safer and secure. I know that if the prong releases, I will still have them on the leash. They are short enough that they don't hang and cause the dogs to be distracted. I highly recommend these for any other owners who use a prong collar. Better safe then sorry!

Strong quality, however long so dangles a lot between harness and collar, only able to shorten it so much.

These were the perfect back clips for my dogs head harness. I had one in the past that was too long and more flimsy. It also cost more. This is definitely a great value. It seems like it will hold up well and my dog doesn't get his knubby legs stuck. Seems like it will hold up to a lot of pulling. It seems very secure.

I use this safety clip as a backup to my dog's prong collar. I attach it to his standard nylon collar and then to the leash. The clip on the safety strap is small enough to work well with attaching it to the prong collar and the standard clip on the leash.
