This thing is awesome. The only thing that would make it better is if they included a ball mount similar to what you get with a ceiling fan so you could hang it from a normal electrical ceiling box. I adapted an old ceiling fan ball and rod to work with this. It required some power tools such as the drill and some nuts and bolts. A remote control would be great too.

I bought two of these HOLDLAMP lights, and they are absolutely worth it! The lights are very bright, colorful, and the moving effects are eye-catching. I use them for parties, small events, and even in my salon — and every time, people are impressed with how the lights react to the music. It’s easy to set up, and it works great with sound activation or DMX control. High quality, vibrant colors, and totally worth the price. I highly recommend it to anyone doing events, DJing, or just trying to create a great vibe! 🥰

Great effects. Sound activation requires high volume level. We used it on auto instead.

These lights are excellent for the price—bright, versatile, and reliable enough to run all night without overheating. They easily replaced several older lights on my 10' truss and performed impressively at a well-lit wedding venue. My only suggestion is to improve the handle and mounting bracket for easier setup, especially for mobile DJs. Overall, a fantastic buy that delivers great lighting effects!

The first thing you’ll notice is its size—it’s big enough to rely on as a DJ headlight. I tested it in a dark room, and it lit up the entire space while perfectly following the music’s rhythm. The only issue I found is the angle adjustment. You can’t place it on the ground or position it behind you, so I decided to set it up next to the DJ booth, and it worked well.
