It seems to an excellent tablet from the standpoint of how rugged it is. It is a little heavier than other tablets, but I believe that is because of how well it is built and how sturdy it is. We connected it two t-mobile cellular with no issues at all, and it began working immediately. It came out of the box fully charged. The only thing missing is a slot for an aux connector in the event you use a wired set of headphones. That was solved by purchasing a c to aux connector. It also has its own case and screen protector so it's an all in one unit with no need to purchase that separately.

I bought several of these tablets as truck mounted screens for our yard inventory system. These things are thick and heavy, with Gorilla glass and solid components, which I have never seen in other tablets. Just holding one made it clear that these were made for the field and could be chucked around without major damage. Also, the battery life is amazing, and they work seamlessly with a T-Mobile SIM card. For $400, they are a great bargain if you need a tablet that's not going to die at the first accidental drop. Highly recommended!

I liked the battery life. All day and night use.

This tablet is at least twice as thick as most tablets, perhaps three times as thick. This should not be an issue if you bought it to be an outdoors/camping tablet. The built in battery contributes to the thickness having over 3 times the capacity of most tablet batteries. It has a built in rubber case for drop protection that also contributes to the thickness. Adding the provided stand increases the thickness even more. It also comes with a shoulder strap and a vinyl/velcro hand strap are optional installs. The screen has a plastic protector already applied. The provided stand appears to be made of high quality metal that can also be used as handle for carrying the tablet. The attachable stand is installed using very small screws. Have some Locktite on hand to apply to the threads to make sure the screw don't work loose since there is very little thread engagement. One flaw is that it has an FM tuner, but no headphone jack. The headphone is to be used as an antenna. Like most manufacturers there are weak and incomplete instructions. To make it worse what instructions exist are on a very tiny leaflet with font that you will need a microscope to read. Since I just received the unit. the claimed up time still needs to be verified. The screen is bright. Other than its claimed up time and durability, it is a standard Android tablet with no noticeable unique features. Most of what separates this tablet from the others is in the hardware including the cameras and memory.

seems like it could be durable (i also havent dropped it yet) but its extremely basic and does not work well. I wish I could return it

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Absolutely mammoth powerhouse of a tablet. Coupled with Nvidia GeForce app you can play triple A steam, epicgames, etc on it with no issues or lag at all. The stand that it comes with is wonderful. Recommend just a bit of loctite so they stay seated forever as they are tiny tiny screws, but the performance has been nothing but that of a titan.

I have had the tablet for just 2weeks and have used it moderatley and as of yet i have not had to charge it as it came fully charged out the box. It's feels durable, its pretty heavy and sturdy. So far it has shown great performance. Will to see how it handles out in the rainforest.
