My Wife's old A12 croaked on her a few days back so we decided to upgrade her and buy a more upmarket phone. This was a great price compared to what the A54 was new last year, and it even came with 256 gb upgraded RAM. Setup was pretty straigtforward, but I do recommend using the enclosed USBC cable for transferring data off your old phone with Smartswitch. In our case, because of photos, the transfer would have taken 3.5 hours over wifi, verses less than 20 mins via cable. The phone was obviously brand new and defaulted to English during the setup. Everything works great now and the camera is particularly good, it compares favourably (but without optical zoom) with my own S23 Ultra, in normal light. It works Ok in very low light, but obviously the S23 leaves it behind at this point in picture quality. Overall though, it has a great camera that is perfect for family photos and HD quality video. Oddly they have also included a dedicated macro lens, which is fine if you want to take a close up of an ant, but personally I would have preferred a 3 x optical zoom instead. But I guess they have to do something to differentiate it from the flagship S23 range.

First off great battery life. First Samsung phone and the software is excellent, Some unwanted apps but they can be removed. Have not experienced any lag or apps struggling to open but I just do the basics no games. Had the A34 before this and TBH theres not much difference. No problem installing apps from my A34 and it runs as a UK phone. Overall would recommend if your looking for a decent mid price phone. No charger which is a pain as I never had a fast charger plug which would work with this phone and had to buy one. Fast charges at 25W which cuts about 30% off the time of a normal charge. Not the fastest charge time but the battery lasts so long even with a 85% its plenty for every day use just make sure all apps are closed after using

The A54 does so much for the price. Great 120hz refresh amoled screen, battery, camera set up. Ip67 water proofing, stereo sound, 5g, 256gb storage. Processor is good and more than capable of running everything very smoothly. Not the UK version but this is not an issue for me. Very easy to set up and transfer data from my older Samsung A71. All this for an awesome price from Amazon seller (saved over £200 from my local Samsung store price). Really pleased with my phone. Steve Holman (Leicester).

I bought this phone to replace my aging Huawei which was starting to run like a dog, and when I broke the screen on it it was time to change. This Samsung phone is great, easy to set up and very use of friendly. Things like managing files our so much easier on this phone. The screen is high quality and a good size. The camera seems to be good quality too, with lots of great features. Battery life so far seems very good, and using the phone as a hot spot there is a good range for other devices to pick it up. Bought the phone from bluefish, and got it 24 hours later, great service

The main doubt I had while buying this phone was, why is it substantially cheaper than what’s listed on Samsung’s website or Argos? Turns out this is not a UK model but a South-East Asian one. But that doesn’t really matter as the functionality is the same. Great phone, feels heavy and sturdy, camera is very good. It’s a real bargain at the listed price of £275. Equivalent phones by other Android companies are ~£400.

Like others was unsure of buying an EU model but its no different at all and set up was extremely easy... choose UK language at first start up and off you go.. transferring all my files from old S9 on to this took around 20 minutes.. phone was brand new and all seals intact and a superb price of £286 from Only Branded UK for the 256gb model.. the A54 is physically bigger and heavier than my old S9 but I'm getting used to it. Very happy.

Lo smartphone è arrivato sano e nel giorno previsto. Come tutti hanno già lamentato, nella confezione c'è solo il cavetto typeC ma manca l'alimentatore (che naturalmente ha il suo costo ... se si trova). Avevo un Samsung A7 che funzionava benissimo (non gioco), ma la sua memoria di 50Gb era insufficiente per supportare tutti gli aggiornamenti e, nonostante la SD, ero al limite ed ho dovuto scegliere un altro. Ho seguito varie recensioni (YouTube) ed ho scelto questo Samsung A54 5G con 256 Gb di memoria interna in modo da stare tranquillo, anche perché sembra che Samsung garantisca aggiornamenti per i prossimi 5 anni. Ho due schede SIM e quindi dovrò fare a meno della SD, ma c'è la possibilità di usare una eSIM e quindi, se dovessi avere necessità della SD, potrò fare a meno di una delle due SIM per l'inserimento della eSIM ... problema risolto. Il cellulare è di ottima fattura e lo dimostra anche il peso dovuto ai materiali, considerando anche il fatto che c'è una batteria di ben 5A che ha il suo peso. Le prestazioni sono eccellenti e tutte le funzionalità descritte rispondono in modo efficace. Non ho avuto ancora la possibilità di fare delle foto, ma ci ho smanettato e sembra effettivamente di maneggiare una fotocamera di un certo livello, anche dovuto ad un software molto intuitivo e completo. Insomma ... secondo me è davvero un buon telefono ... forse per me anche troppo raffinato. Se decidete di comprarlo, non dimenticate di prendere anche la cover e tutto ciò che vi serve, perché in giro non si trova ancora niente ... troppo nuovo.
