Authentic German Bauernbrot Bread Pack of 2

This wonderful bread is as close to authentic German as we have ever tasted here in the USA. My wife is German, and we spent 15 years in southern Germany while I served in the military. We ate this bread daily back then and truly missed it. Now we know where to get it! Great bread.

I would not recommend this Bread it was very dry has not much to do with German Bread. I Don't know if this Bread was frozen before it got to me Bread should not be this dry, if you freeze bread it will become dry and taste like scheisse. I will look somewhere else. I guess i have to order my Bread from Germany there are Online Shops where you can order from Or i have to Bake it myself (Lol)

My mother wanted to try this bread because she is german and loves this type of bread. She said she would definitely order from this vendor again!

I grew up in central Europe. I miss those breads! This one is decent, but after a week on the road, well... Plus it does not have a real crust, and probably never did have...

Good bread, but they stuffed 2 loaf of bread into a package which was not large enough for 2 loafs. Results crushed bread.

I was raised on this bread. Sent it to my Mom and she absolutely loves it

I immigrated from Germany in May, so I know what I'm talking about. So, even if it looks at the outside like a German farmer's bread, the crust is not as crispy, and the inside texture is not like it. The taste is notbad, but it doesn't come near the taste of a bread baked by German bakers or factories.So, anybody who would like to get to know the real taste - you just have to buy bead baked in Germany andthen imported. German bread...sadly it is very expensive, but this one wasn't cheap eather, so I'll do it it the future.
