46787 HFT Folding Door Hinges for Screwing 180° Die-cast Zinc Nickel-Plated

I bought this particular hinge after looking for something suitable for ages, as my husband made me an appliance garage. To have two slim doors that could fold back was the only way it would work for us as opposed to both opening out which would have been tight. This way the doors are neatly folded back out of the way whilst I cook. They work perfectly. Very strong too. I can slightly see the hinge in the gap if I really look for it, but it’s unnoticeable otherwise. The price put me off at first, but in the end there was no other choice. It’s well worth it though. We had to buy our own screws and fill in the screw holes on our already cut doors, to drill more. For our other door, which had already used its hinge holes, we took it to a woodwork place and they cut the big holes for us. I couldn’t be happier.

Proper proper expensive. A great hinge but wow

I bought these to make a vertical bifold door. The hinges have the right geometry for this & appear well made, but the hinge pins are a push fit, & appear to be retained only by load on the hinge. I found this out while attempting to hang my tall door & nearly dropped it. On that basis I wouldn't recommend them.

Der Umbau der Ikea Türen gestaltet sich etwas schwierig, da zum Teil die Bohrungen nicht passten. Dabei mussten vorhandene Bohrungen mit Holzstopfen verschlossen, und neue Bohrungen angebracht werden. Das restliche Equipment, wie die Schiene und den Führungsblock habe ich direkt bei Hettich gekauft.
