I have had this for about a month and so far it has been almost perfect... the clear top will get marred as I use it but so far nothing distracting. the pen compartment is handy and I like that I don't have to open the whole thing to access it. I have been surprised at how many pages the clear compartment holds. The one gripe I have is that the latch on the bottom compartment is too.. deep? It overhangs the bottom of the clipboard so that if you set it on a table it will be propped up ever so slightly and if you slid it onto a shelf etc it catches that latch and pops it open! I will likely end up filing off enough of that latch so it no longer catches on things. Other than that it is splendid :)
