These have held up and worked for both charging as well as carplay. Everything is moving to USB-C as the standard, so no reason to invest in lightning cables anymore. This makes it easier to have 1 cable that has the flexibility to charge our iPhones pre and post iPhone 15, our son's fire tablet, headphones, and pretty much any new device nowadays. I wish I knew about these sooner rather than investing in multiple cables.

Use them as adapters from my USB C high power charging cables to a older Lightning phone. They work great and transfer data well also when using usb C to lightning for carplay. When lightning cables come harder to come by this is a great alternative
