Maybe... they work... but Tart Cherries are for real
So I have been taking these cherry supplements for about 6 months. I have had some issues with foot pain, which may-or-may-not be gout related. Regardless, I figures I would add tart cherry supplements into my diet. At first they seemed to help. My foot pain was mostly gone, but any other benefit was pretty minimal.THEN IT HAPPENED...I added a daily 8oz of tart cherry juice ( Cheribundi 8oz 100% tart cherry juice) into my routine (in addition to these supplements) and wow... the change has been pretty remarkable. It took about 6 weeks for the full effect.- While your results may vary, virtually all of my minor aches and pains have disappeared. I feel at least 10 years younger. My foot pain is gone...but so is my achy shoulders and knees. I am not nearly as stiff on cold rainy days... this combo is amazing.Again... my results may not be your results... but I definitely see merit in daily tart cherries. I am not 100% sure how effective these supplements are, but I know when I added in a daily 8oz tart cherry juice I had a major benefit.

Seems to be good support
I have arthritis in one of my thumbs which is quite painful and annoying. I have used the V ointment but really don’t think it’s helping much and you can only use it for 3 weeks at a time. I was searching for celery seed oil and came across these. While it’s mostly targeted at gout sufferers I have found that it works better than the ointment and NSAID’s. I have not had any digestive issues from these so I feel they are both safe and effective. I don’t get total relief from the pain but it’s definitely noticeable if I miss a day.

Gamechanger
This is has been a game-changer for natural pain relief. I tell everyone I know that is open to trying something different, especially if the over the counter or prescription pain relief isn't working. Usually it's the latter, nothing seems to work and surgery is the next option for knee, back, shoulder or any kind of arthritis pain or inflammation. If I'm in great need of relief, I will take 4 at a time as needed for pain just like a dose of ovc med to get in my system along with the tart cherry juice. Friends have told me it also relieves their gout attacks. This is the best brand I've tried for serious pain and I may try a less expensive brand for daily maintenance.

Reordered...good for recovery from gout flare up
I don't have huge issues with gout but occasionaly, if I have too much caffeine or drink too much tea or coffee, sometimes I experience knee pain. My parents, who are in their seventies, occasionly get get gout in their toes and joints. I gave them the remainder of my bottle and it is helping them. I ended up ordering another bottle for me because, even though I don't get a lot of gout, this is a good natural remedy to have on hand a for the times when I do.When I tried it for the 1st time, I did not notice a whole lot of difference because I was not experiencing any gout symptoms. I was using it for the antioxidants and for general flushing and cleansing of my kidneys and bladder. But after engaging in some excesses of sugar and caffeine at several back-to-back social events followed by doing some crazy experiments with my diet to see if some of the hype around 2 popular diet fads was true, I found that this helped me get rid of a joint pain flare up much faster. Now, I will say, that before you say that this doesn't work, you have to really know your body. If you have overindulged, you may not receive relief by the very next day. It might take a couple of days. However, think back to times when you had to recover without the product and how it may have taken four or 5 days for the pain in your knees l, shoulders, toes or fingers to go away instead of one or two days. Also, don't think that you can continue to overindulge in sweets and caffeine (or other inflammatory foods) with this product and get relief. I tried it and it doesn't work. You have to give your body a break so that it can recover from the flare up. This will assist the healing process -- not counteract continued overindulgence. A few days of sensible eating and this supplement will support your body's natural mechanisms for ridding itself of uric acid buildup.

Just as good, but cheaper and more convenient,
Tart cherry juice is one of the natural wonder products for inflammation. As someone with joint issues — mainly my knees — I’ve used tart cherry juice that I’ve bought in health food stores with good results. The problem is the cost, ease of use and perishability. I can’t say what the equivalent of one capsule is in terms of juice, if we assume a drink of tart cherry juice a day is a rough equivalent to two capsules, the capsule cost less, or maybe the same if you find a very good price on juice. Capsules are easier to transport and take. Beyond this, they don’t need to be refrigerated and won’t go bad (I can’t say this absolutely, but I think it’s safe to assume that unrefrigerated juice would go bad quickly). I don’t assume this has health benefits over real juice, and doubt the manufacturer would claim that, but the costs savings and convenience make this worth trying for anyone who has used tart cherry juice therapeutically.

Treatment for gout
My husband was recently diagnosed with gout (apparently he's got excess uric acid), and this was highly recommended for his health. He's been taking them now for about 3 weeks and hasn't seen any improvement. He's changed his diet, he's taking meds, eating dried cherries, and taking these pills. Nothing seems to work (he is still in a lot of pain). Can't recommend these pills based on his experience
