My go-to mittens for anything with snow
I've used a few different leather and goretex snow gloves/mittens for skiing and snowboarding - Hestra, Forum, XTM and FlyLow (which are Kinco's with SnoSeal treatment). I bought these after seeing all the ski instructors use them my last trip. All the above gloves are really good, but these gloves are by far the warmest, most comfortable and cheapest I've ever purchased. Good long-lasting pigskin leather, warm soft lining - inner lining has seperate compartment for each finger - and long wrist elastic keeps snow out of glove. There's even a leather strip on the wrist elastic so you can pull these gloves on and off without stretching the elastic. Well-thought out and practical design features.

Amazing quality, well made, long lasting ... Bargain basement pricing.
Awesome made mittens for snowboarding. The only "issue" is that to waterproof these for use in the snow, you'll have to treat these yourself with either NikWax (two packs included) or SnoSeal. The gloves aren't waterproof "out of the box" though the leather is much softer untreated. I used SnoSeal which melted and absorbed easily into the pores of the leather (preheated the mitts using a hairdryer and rubbed the SnoSeal in). Makes the mitts a little more tacky, leather less soft to touch, and changes the color darker, but makes these mitts watertight and ready to use in the snow. If you want them pre-treated and waterproof "out of the box", you can by FlyLow brand (which are Kinco's rebranded and SnoSeal treated), but you'll be spending an extra $20 for the privilege and convenience. The size is true to fit (which is important, as the inner liner has seperate compartment for each finger), but I bought large size (even though I wear medium in all gloves) to fit my glove liner and slim wrist guard. Fits perfect with liner but without wrist guard, and I expect leather to be able to stretch out a bit while wearing the wrist guard. Also the plastic glove attachment clip looks rather delicate. I replaced it immediately with a small size carabiner. Seriously, these are amazing quality gloves - well made, good design, warm and long lasting - at a truly ridiculously bargain price (especially compared to the cost of other leather and non-leather snow gloves/mittens). Kinco's makes great stuff.

Individual Finger Liners and Bad Wax
Don't bother with the nikwax! After applying the included packets to the gloves, they still absorbed a good bit of water the next day in the snow. Went with the sno-seal stuff instead with better results (probably available at your local Ace or hardware store for $6). The gloves fit really well, very comfortable and warm, and the leather and stitching seem to be great quality. While I am (like many other reviewers) not a huge fan of individual finger liners inside mittens, the bigger drawback of that feature is that I can curl all 4 of my fingers inside the shell of the mitten without actually moving the tip of the mitten. Not a huge deal since mittens aren't meant to be super dexterous, but having the finger liners somehow attached to the fingertip area of the mitt would give a little more control. I would still recommend this mitt to skier or snowboarder out there.

It's like your hands never left the warm indoors
I went for a jog in 10 degree weather with these on, my hands were so warm that I had to take them off every now and then. Fantastic mittens.

I cycle daily 16kms in ALL weather. So far (Late October in Western Canada) very warm. Will update when we reach -15c. Separate fingers inside are not an issue. Loving these mittens! Will attach some wool on the left mitt to wipe the running nose whiling pedaling.

Got to be the best value all leather ski gloves out there! Add in the fact they're warm but not atall sweaty, and it might not come as a surprise that these are my fourth pair (I lost one & the elasticated cuffs on the other two worked loose), starting about 10yrs ago after seeing a US video review on YouTube. The only two downsides of the 900 series ones is how stiff they are initially (due to the solidity of the cowhide style leather!) & the lack of a wrist loop (unlike the v.similar but black coloured 901 series). I attached boot laces to the loops (fixed near the wrist part of the glove) with spring toggles to adjust their length. But at this price, to get a super solid all leather glove at a fraction of the price of Hestras, who can complain!

Great gloves. Warm and comfortable. Much more affordable than big name brands and equal if not better construction.
