CBC bath coolers consist of a thermoelectric cooling unit and a separate power supply. Unit can be installed easily onto any bath with a two inch diameter opening in its cover. Simply place the cooling unit in the opening, secure the built-in clamps and attach the power supply. Cooling is accomplished thermoelectrically, eliminating the need for tubing connections and circulation of refrigerants. When the power supply is turned on the CBC continuous cooling immediately begins to lower bath temperature below ambient. Temperature is controlled by the bath’s built-in circuitry. At ambient temperatures of 25°C or below, the CBC can cool any liquid bath down to as low as 10°C if the bath can be set to control at that temperature. The CBC can also be used to improve the temperature stability of viscosity baths when operating near or below ambient temperatures.
