Powerful CBT tool for kids
As a therapist, I can confirm that this is an excellent CBT game! I appreciate that the principles of CBT are discreetly embedded within the questions, allowing children to really enjoy and be intrigued by them. The game is simple and straightforward, which I think is another advantage as it allows players to focus on the storyline of the game. The board is divided into topics: past, present and future, in each of them beautiful characters and questions related to the corresponding topic. The children at the clinic are enthusiastic about the board and the design of the cards. Looks like a lot of thought went into this. There are questions about social situations, feelings, history, opinions, values and thoughts of children. It's wonderful, and I haven't come across any other CBT game on Amazon with these kinds of questions. I highly recommend caregivers or families to purchase the game.

Perfecrt balance between educational and fun!
As a mom of energetic kiddos, ages 7 and 10, finding activities that are entertaining, educational *and* are non-screen, can be a real challenge. That's why I was thrilled to stumble upon this board game. The high quality, colorful board and engaging game pieces immediately caught my kids' attention, but what truly sets this game apart is its incorporation of CBT principles in a way that's enjoyable for children (and parents!).My little ones didn't even realize they were learning valuable skills as they navigated through the game, with many great opportunities for discussion and growth. The game is flexible enough to accommodate different play styles and skill levels, and I highly recommend it to parents, as it is fun, interactive and with tons of added value. It's been a great experience for our family.

Exactly what we needed
I played this game with my 7 years old, and we had so much fun. This game gave me a deeper look into her mind and heart, and the other way around, I got to share things I normally wouldn't. This game led us to talks about stories and dreams... but in a fun, easy way!We both agreed it was one of our favorite games now, we loved everything about it.I loved how you progress in time as you moved forward, taking you from what was to what you wish will be. It ends the game with a positive outlook. The colors are so vibrant, and the graphics are beautiful.Thank you for this great, different, game.

Worth the price
At first I was hesitant because of the price, but after trying it I discovered its immense value for both individual and group activities. The quality is impressive and kids love it, and it effortlessly turns learning about emotions and social skills into a fun experience. This game is fantastic for cultivating relationships with clients or students while learning CBT skills for easy access. It is perfect for both private practice and school environments. I use it for both one-on-one sessions and small group counseling, and it works like a charm. I highly recommend it for ages eight and up!

This is a racist game
Notes for the manufacturer:- Indigenous peoples of what is now the United States of America still exist.- There are hundreds of different Indigenous cultures within the boundaries of the United States. They do not all use teepees.- The "tribes" to which your board game refers are sovereign nations. This game needs to be recalled from the market. It is not only not educational, it is actually dis-educational.

Good CBT game, some outdated terms
There are some stereotypical representations of indigenous people, and the game uses the term "Indian" instead of indigenous. The game looks good and useful otherwise. I am looking for a way to cover up the term "Indian" and then I will try using it in sessions.

Great game!
The game itself is of excellent quality. The game is fun and the kids loved it. As someone who works in mental health, I often use this game with my clients. This has been amazingly helpful. The game serves as a valuable tool for helping kids understand, discuss their feelings and develops coping skills. Buying it was definitely a good decision, and I use it a lot in my practice.
