hi David the colour of the pin housing can be 1 of 5 colours, black , white , chrome, brass, and clear, clear is usually the best option as it allows the colour of the flooring to come throw so making it even more discrete. i hope this has helped you

hi you have pre drill the hole where you want the pin to be fixed , thewith your carpet in position feel for the hole, using a new sharp knife blade make a cross like cut, put some adhesive in the hole and drop the in. once it sets the Fantom will work, this can be done in both solid and suspended floors. i hope this helps
