These weights were affordable, delivered promptly next day, and are a welcome addition to my fitness gear. They came well-packaged in a small cardboard box within a soft pack envelope, and are the perfect dark green to match my yoga mat and block. There are no imperfections in the neoprene outer, no odor upon unpackaging, my hands fit perfectly in the molded area, and they are just the right amount of weight to give me a little something to manouver without straining my neck or overdoing it with my Pilates and yoga weighted workouts. The texture is a non-slip and the hex sides mean the weights don’t roll when set down. The gorgeous dark green and petite size make me smile and that is a great way to workout. Highly recommend this product.

Soft grip weights. Well made! No pain after holding a while. Nothing popping out or peeling. No smell. Haven't weighed them, but assume they're accurate since they feel correct.

I recently picked up a pair of 8lb neon orange dumbbells for my at-home workout routine, and I’m impressed with both the look and functionality. Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Pros: Vibrant Color: The neon orange is eye-catching and unique. I love how they brighten up my workout space and are easy to find among my other equipment. Grip: These dumbbells have a neoprene coating, which provides a non-slip grip. Even during intense workouts, they don’t slide, which is a huge plus for safety and comfort. Perfect Weight for Versatility: At 8lbs each, they’re heavy enough to provide a decent challenge but light enough for a range of exercises, from bicep curls and shoulder presses to dynamic movements like lunges. Durability: The material feels solid and scratch-resistant. After several weeks of regular use, they still look brand new with no visible wear.

I'm am man undergoing physical therapy for rotator cuff injuries. I purchased these so I could do the exercises at home. As a man I do not have particularly large hands. Measured across the palm they are slightly larger than 3-1/2". There's barely 3-1/2" of grip between the heads so my hands actually wrap up slightly over the heads. If they weighed more than 2 lbs they might be uncomfortable to use as a result of the narrow grip. But be warned if you have large hands or wide palms these weights are probably not large enough for you. The two dumbbells each weighed slightly more than 2 lbs (average was 0.1 lb heavy) but did not weigh exactly the same. Not a problem for my intended use. The neoprene coat seems to be evenly applied and I saw no defects. Don't know how rugged the neoprene will be in the long run. The weights were delivered by UPS in an Amazon envelope. The weights are shipped from the factory in a cardboard box that fits the pair fairly tightly when placed side-by-side. But, during or before shipment one end of the box was completely torn off and the weights were rolling around loose in the envelope. They appear to have sustained no damage and were still enclosed in shrink wrap. But -1 star for poor packaging choice on Amazon's part.

I recently purchased the Portzon 2 lb weights and overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. The weights are a good value for the price and they're well-made, with a solid feel to them. They're also very versatile – I've used them for a variety of exercises and they've worked well for all of them. One of the things I like most about the Portzon weights is their size and shape. They're small enough to be easily held in the hand, but they're also heavy enough to provide a decent challenge. The hexagonal shape also makes them easy to grip and prevents them from rolling around. I do have a couple of minor complaints about the weights, however. Firstly, the rubber coating is a bit thin and flimsy, and I'm not sure how long it will hold up to regular use. Secondly, the weights do have a slight odor to them, which is a bit off-putting. These are minor issues, however, and overall, I'm happy with my purchase. In summary, the Portzon 2 lb weights are a good value and well-made, with a solid feel and a convenient size and shape. They're versatile and work well for a variety of exercises, although the rubber coating is a bit thin and they do have a slight odor. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these weights to others.

Ordered to replace a very old set that were no longer usable. I am thrilled with the quality of these! They are easy to grip, fit my small hands and are a fun colour (brite green!) Great addition to my home gym
