NusaPure Cordyceps 20:1 Extract, 150 mg Equivalent to 3,000mg 200 Veggie Capsules (Sinensis CS-4, Non-GMO, Vegan) Bioperine

Long history here, but had a hysterectomy about 10 months ago. Could not get my energy back afterwords. I also take antidepressants. Trying to work my way through eastern suggestions, since my doctor couldn't do anything for me. I've tried 6 different supplements so far including panex ginseng, horny goat weed, Codonopsis, and Astragalus. None of those others really did much, the ginseng worked much like caffeine which was not what I was looking for. The effect of horny goat weed was very slight, and the others gave me digestion issues. Anyway, BY FAR the Cordyceps has been the best I've found. BUT BEWARE when mixed with caffeine it seems to increase the affects drastically. The first week I was taking the supplement, I made the mistake of having a late day coffee at 4pm, and that night I felt amazing!!!!!! (amazing in mind and body) BUT didn't get to sleep until 4 am on a worknight. And when I say amazing, I mean I have not had that much energy since the doctor put me on a regiment of steroids. It was so unexpected!!! Even the next day with only 3 hours of sleep, I should have been more tired than I was.

I switched away from Vitamin Shoppe's cordyceps to this brand, and there is definitely a noticeable difference in my endurance during my longer runs. My breathing feels easier. I believe my post-run recovery is also faster, but I'm not as clear about that.

I have done a good deal of research on cordyceps and their health benefits. These NusePure capsules stood out for me as a good way to try Cordyceps. Haven't been taking them very long so can't speak to health benefits just yet but I'm looking forward to updating my review in a few months. Easy to take and a good value for the price.

As expected

I am careful about when to take this supplement ... and then I have learned through trial and error to only take ONE. Most supplements seem like snake oil ... I'm not sure they are doing anything at all. That is not the case with NusaPure Cordyceps. I take care of residential swimming pools in SW Florida, and often I feel like I am dragging. If I want to pick up the pace a lot ... I take one Cordyceps before heading off to work. Yesterday, Christmas Eve, I wanted to get the day done as quickly as possible. What usually takes me around 5 hours to do I did in 3.5 hours. Of course, one of the reasons is that I seriously cut corners. One warning though: As others have stated, this makes you have next to no patience in traffic with slow drivers, etc. I learned not to take two of these because then I really do become "Mr Hyde." So I highly recommend you try taking one to begin with .... and never take it too late in the day. Probably early morning is best.

The pills are perfect!!

I had cancer (CLL) 6+ years ago, I was 'cured' but I soon developed issues connected with being over chemo'd. I had surgery on my tear ducts because they had become fused (chemo attacks mucus membranes) and then my kidneys started to fail. After a lot of research, I decided to try cordyceps to help with the kidney problem. My nephrologist was amazed by the 'recovery' of my kidney. Since then, I have not had any reports come back that suggest my kidneys are compromised. I have been taking cordyceps ever since and will stay with it until the end.

Hard to rate supplements as it is difficult to really tell what's going on precisely and if anything is related to taking this. Not entirely sure if it is boosting any kind of energy or alertness but I do seem to be having more vivid dreams. Going to take this until the bottle is empty and as you only take one a day I'll be doing this for a while. Nothing negative at least as far as I can tell.
