This was absolutely delicious... add some New American Honey Whiskey or some Jack Daniel's Honey.... *chef's kiss* it mixes well with any whiskey. Ingredients are comforting, not scary. It's not expensive for a great quality of fashioned at home. It's a little thick, which allows for more whiskey for the right consistency. I only recently discovered that we both love an old fashioned, and this was the first one we've bought. We've tried different once since, but this is our favorite 😍

Very nice set. Had a little damage ti the cherries in shipping and seller reached out to make sure I was happy. I'm quite sure it was rough handling by Amazon that caused the damage. Both the cherries and syrup were packed well but ya know how Amazon handles packages. Looking forward to to trying it.

I have been enjoying "Old Fashion" mixed drinks for years. I have tried MANY different recipes, bartender suggestions, recipes off the internet and more but I find this mix to be the most unique and among the most flavorful concoctions I've had. This is on par with the one of the better infusions that I have made in the past. Drying out fruits and finding and keeping demerara raw sugar on hand take time and planning and frankly, I think this sauce is just as good. The instructions suggest 1/4 ounce of sauce with 2 ounces of bourbon or rye whiskey which is a good ratio, but I like just a little less that 1/4 ounce with a top shelf rye and a twist of orange peel. YUM! The sauce is thick but blends easily with minimal stirring. I have already ordered more and plan to give out as Christmas gifts!

This will make a solid cocktail and is recommended for any home bar. A little on the pricey side, but overall it is worth it.

My brother makes old fashions all the time. I made him one using this mix. He said it was better than what he makes.

My first review of any product. The bottle cap had leaked before delivery. Bottle cap was "welded" shut; needing pliers to open. Syrup is VERY thick, like Lisa Douglas's coffee on Green Acres (Yes, I am that OLD!) Maybe air infiltrated the bottle thickening the syrup? Doesn't seem to mix well into drink, leaving cocktail a lot darker than should be. Flavor is OK, but a little sweeter than expected. Not a deal breaker, but not as smooth as Amazon's Lava OF syrup. Just trying different brands, as I have recently developed an OF addiction. Will definitely try other brands as i search for my ideal Old Fashioned elixir.
