This and liposomal glutathione are the only forms of glutathione demonstrated to survive digestion. S acetyl is arguably cheaper (35 cents for 100 mg) than liposomal (about $1 per 500 gram serving). S acetyl also passes the blood brain barrier (ordinary glutathione does also technically, but not as well). I find it makes my thinking clearer. Glutathione is the "master antioxidant / detoxifier", and is ordinarily made by the body. Some people don't generate enough, e.g., because of MTHFR. Many people can increase glutathione production by taking NAC, but for some people this causes problems.

Two takeaways: (1) This pill has made me feel like a normal human being again. It doesn't give me energy like coffee or any energy supplements, but instead it makes me feel not lethargic. I used to feel pulled down by a weight, and I would get sick after exercising too hard. Since taking this pill (over a month) that hasn't happened and I just feel...good (2) People who can't swallow pills, rejoice! You've found the right S-Acetyl L-Glutathione supplement. *The pill is small and can be snapped in half.* I can snap it in half easily enough with my fingers and swallow half at a time. Most people might not even need to do that, as it's about the size of a standard Tylenol. Seriously the perfect supplement. Never change, Jarrow Formulas...

Still using the first bottle. Noticed that it seems to work better for me if I take a capsule when I first wake up on an empty stomach- read that levels are lowest in the morning. Take a second tablet after lunch (about 1-2 hours). My eyesight is slowly improving and my hearing in right ear (the one with the hearing aid) seems to be a little better. Time will tell but I will continue to take it. I do think it takes some time to build up in your system. I am over 60 which normally means you are deficient since it declines after 40.

It's really work

I cannot comment yet on the effects of this product. Personally speaking I need to try a product for a decent two months, and then be without it for at least one month. I am not there yet thus, the three stars. However, knowing what S-acetyl glutathione is supposed to do, I can only remain positive in its help. :) I will comment again when I am better able to.

We've only been taking about 4 days. Hubby loves it, calls it "the energy pill," and is regarding it as a sort of miracle! BUT it also seems to make him (and he has been feeling very fatigued lately normally) actually HYPER; I've talked him into taking it only every other day. We take it with NAC, lecithin (pill), flaxseed oil (for lipoic acid), selenium, niacinamide, Vitamin B6, riboflavin, and Milk Thistle pill. Several of these are available in one pill, Swanson's Whole Foods Multi Vitamin. Hope this helps somebody. It really is a wonderful breakthrough new form of Glutathione. (update: he took it again this morning after taking one yesterday, and doesn't seem hyper now after about 2 hours. He REALLY loves this pill!)

Tablet doesn't breakdown well, I see them in my stools. I'm buying another brand that us a capsules. I like jarrow, but this one doesn't work well for me.
