The interviews in particular provided valuable insight from successful founders who have built successful companies through a variety of ways such as franchising, raising money or growing organically. Nafisa has in-depth knowledge in how to build a business around a community and staying true to your values. She has built and scaled an incredible global media platform from the ground up. This book is a must read and should definitely be on your reading list.

Super helpful, written in clear and simple to follow language, very honest, no fluff. It is divided into several chapters that are helpful to check every now and then when needed.

As someone who currently runs a business I have found the guidance in this book, extremely useful. The book contains tons of useful information to learn how to level up your business and take it to the next level. This book will teach you that there are multiple pathways to reach your business goal, and that success does not come overnight. There are very valuable tips for some people who are starting businesses, such as knowing if your idea is valuable and what is the best course of initial action to take to begin your journey. There are also interviews with successful business owners, which also gives insight on how they levelled up their business. These key insights will be sure to help you succeed in your current business. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is looking to start a business or already has a business and really wants to take it to the next level. The book does not use unnecessary jargon or “business buzzwords”. Rather, it is written simply and straight to the point exactly what you need to get going regardless of your experience. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was thoughtfully written, and the emphasis on the ground work of a business such as tracking KPIs and improving your habits was refreshing. Seeing a variety of different success stories from either Chicken Cottage or Shazam was great as it reinforces there is no 'one way' to be good at business. I will implement what I learnt moving forwards, such as the frameworks of "30/60/90" and writing down a money goal. I also loved that although this book is for everyone regardless of gender, there is a section towards the end discussing the menstrual cycle and how women could try to work with their cycle instead of against it.
