We needed some extra space for clothing in the basement so we bought this portable closet. I was a bit skeptical, but the reviews seemed decent, so I went for it. The bars are a narrower diameter than the similarly constructed heavy duty chrome pantry shelves I own (these are pretty commonly available), however they are still plenty sturdy for this application. I would recommend sticking to the design that it recommends, although it will accommodate some minor modification of shelf height, etc. The cover is nice and provides extra protection from dust and from viewing the contents if that is needed. Overall this has exceeded my expectations and has worked great. It was delivered quickly and was packaged very well. They used plastic spacers and heavy duty wire ties to keep everything together and from being damaged during transit. It takes 20-30 minutes to put together. I used a plastic/rubber mallet to help tap everything in place to make it tight. I would recommend that. Otherwise it is pretty easy to put together. Instructions are par for something like this, not awesome but not bad. It's pretty easy to put together and works as designed.

This is great if you don't have a closet, you need a closet, and you don't mind a portable closet. You need to assemble it. You might want to make an appointment with yourself, it, and your patience. The instructions to assemble are great! They are detailed and explicit. But you need to take your time, lay everything out. Then go. Good luck. Storage capacity: This one is large. There are some larger. Be sure to measure your space. The measurements of the closet are online. Quality: The quality is good. I have mine tightly packed and I have shoe boxes stacked to the ceiling on top and on the bottom shelves. It's PACKED! It's very sturdy even with all of that -no wobble. Sturdiness: As stated, It's sturdy. Not one iota of wobble.

I bought this closet for extra space very much needed since my house doesn't have walk in closets. I prepare a room for an extra closet area and found this option of many that they have. Easy to assemble, good materials, strong and sturdy. So good that I bought a smaller one to complement and to hang the longer dresses. It's so beautiful and storage size are perfect.

This is one of the best clothing bests I've had..the metal is sturdy & strong. It holds alot of weight. I like that it has 3 sections & you can adjust it to the size needed. The things I didn't like are that when you use the cover, it will leave a gap in the middle because the top middle rack won't go all the way to the top. So that it can be level all the way across. Setup was fairly easy although it took some time.

In order to save some money we chose this clothing organizer, as opposed to some other more expensive wooden wardrobes. My daughter and I put it together ourselves and it probably took an hour, or so. The directions are decent, and it was relatively easy to assemble (especially compared to the many other furniture items we have put together over the past couple of years). I would suggest having a second pair of hands for the base setup (if possible - it's not necessary, but does make it easier), and if you're short like I am (5'4"/162cm) you may need a step ladder or a taller person to attach the top parts. Seems very sturdy. There were NO missing parts (there were extras). We opted not to use the cover as it would prevent us from stacking things on one of the shelves, but will use it at some point. If you're looking for a good clothing organizer at a decent price, then I'd recommend this one.

UPDATED Nov 14-2024 : AMAZON - I really dislike your question answering system. Someone asked about the hanger size & I bumped something after loading the 2 pics and it disappeared before I could comment! IN HOPES THAT PERSON SEES THIS UPDATE: My hangers are 17 &1/2; 17 & 5/8 inches. The actual shelf width is just under 16 inches. I do not use the cover. It's my closet - I'm not going thru all that monkey business everyday to "close" it. Looking at other's pictures, I don't "think" your 17-inch hangers will be a problem with the cover. Hopefully someone sent you a good answer. I'd still give this system 10 stars after 14 months of daily use! I've used the space on top for extra blankets and vacuum sealed bags of seasonal clothes. There's a lot of weight on/in this closet. I've thought about getting another smaller set just for the shelves. I STILL highly recommend this closet. FIRST TIP: LOOK through the instructions to see the different ways you can assemble! By the time I was ready to set this up, I'd forgotten I was going to set the 3-drawer plastic 'dresser' in that spot! LOL - ok take a couple things off. It came very well packaged and CLEARLY marked. If I had the energy to take everything off and make a change - I would move the shelf on top the 'dresser' over to the other side and I would have set that shelf just above the 2 end ones. I could have used the extra inch on the bottom. As it was, at the time I was thinking of the fact that the plastic drawer top likes to settle down so I didn't want to chance setting something on it so that's why the shelf was placed there. Just take your time - take stock of what you plan to put in it and your golden! Either way, I'm delighted to have this. It definitely sets up very easily. I had a couple other storage shelves made in the same manner. I love that you can make adjustments to the shelf placement within the area you have installed it. I also chose to use the leveling feature of the screw in 'feet' to cause it to tilt back just a bit and therefore did NOT feel the need to "anchor" to the wall. If you have smaller kids, then I'd suggest anchoring as a precaution ... It's a versatile system and holds a lot of clothes!

Surprised at quality and sturdiness. Good cover, lots of room for storage. My daughter was able to assemble without much trouble!

I love that you can close the zippers so it looks "neat". We downsized and didn't have enough closets. This holds all our winter wear easily. Also love the built in shelves. Very sturdy.
