This is my first motorcycle helmet and I’m very happy with it. I’m using it in the Deep South where our Summers are hot and humid, as well as the Winters. There is some ventilation with the visor down and all the vents open, but not a lot in the Summer. I found if you get your closed helmet in clean air (above the windshield w/ vents open) it helps, but cracking the visor open is the best means to really stay cool (although noisier). Works great here in the winter. The vents are much more effective with cold temps for any needed for managing comfort. I’ve not used the pin lock fog-free insert visor, but opening the visor helps to remove fog from breath at slow speed or stops. The retractable tinted visor means no need for sunshades, and it can be quickly retracted when you go from bright to low light in the evening or early morning—very easy to use, the tint is great and one of the coolest, most helpful features. I recommend keeping a ceramic or plastic polish on the clear front visor and helmet to help bug cleanup after a ride and for rain repellency. I was so pleased it stayed dry inside, except the nap of your neck, during a heavy downpour and it didn’t fog up in the Summer with the vents all open (there was likely some water in the vent areas beneath the padding, but I couldn’t feel any inside when I removed it.) I use Apple AirPods for audio so far and they have the best sound over others with the Noise Canc. feature on. When you research helmets you’ll find that all helmets have noise from high winds. The best option I’ve seen is using foam ear plugs and a comm/speaker system for the helmet. That’s on the to-do list, but it doesn’t get noisy until about 60 then it’s noticeable through 70mph (max limit in my state.) Update: Instld. a Cardo Audio system & use foam ear plugs…game changer! Hearing protection and incredible sound. All the helmet features (chin guard lock up & down, retract. visor, pads, appearance) are working great after a year of heavy use. I never want to test the helmet’s effectiveness for its primary design, but some great reviewer said that part worked great for them. Praise God! The helmet’s weight is pretty average in looking at others, but that is part of having a device on your head strong enough to protect your head. I want a higher dollar helmet to compare it, but this is going to suit me until the padding is worn out. Highly recommended budget helmet!

Fits like a glove, cuts down on wind noise and the visors are nice and sturdy. It's not a $900 helmet but for the price it's pretty great.

Love this helmet. I started with a Fulmer open face but wanted a full face modular helmet with pin lock visor and internal sun shield. Please watch the video for full description on the features. While I like using the quick release strap system, this doesn’t work with helmet locks (like the kind that’s common inside a lot of seats). If it had a D-ring attached somehow that would solve the problem. But riding in rain or high humidity or early mornings this has never fogged up on me. And after 2k miles both visors show no signs of scratches or scuffs. The sun shield does a great job and is way more comfy than wearing glasses. I chose white thinking that people might actually see me since a lot of drivers are on the lookout for motorcycle cops. Lastly, I saw a recent post on FB that caught my attention because it featured this exact helmet…a rider went down and was praising her gear for her survival, especially this helmet. It was ruined but she was saved and when I asked her about it she said she was going to buy another one exactly the same.

I have more positive things to say than negative, but still on the fence about returning it. Pros: The quality and features far exceeded my expectation for the cost of this helmet. I was blown away when it arrived. The modular portion works excellent, the sun visor and clear visor both operate very smooth and seemless. The padding is quality and comfortable, and removable in pieces so thats a plus. Audio speakers sound really good actually when you get it lined up properly with your ear. Quick release chin strap is nice, I like that it just slides in and clicks in place and has a pull function to make unstrapping easy as well. Cons: My first gripe is the color. Right out of the box, I was disappointed at the color. I ordered the red carbon fiber and was hoping it would look like 3 dimensional weave and a little deeper red, but its fairly bright red and clearly looks like it was just dipped in a carbon fiber pattern. So that's where the quality of what I paid for showed through, but cant complain about that too much, the actual material looks good. Another one was that the bluetooth system comes separately, you have to install everything on your own and it doesn't really have directions to do it, so you just have to kind of line things up where you think it should go. The wind noise is pretty horrible with the bluetooth headset installed, not sure if its catching the wind and shooting it straight into my ear or what, but at freeway speed I cant hear the speakers at all so its pointless. At city speed, the sound system does sound pretty good. I just ordered some wind cancelling earplugs because of this. Last gripe, and the main thing besides the color, is that you cant find a different color windshield for this model. Its so annoying, I'm all about the styling and I absolutely hate the clear visor, looks so plain and goofy to me so I was just going to replace it, but it doesn't look like they have any other styles for this model, so that and the bright plain red color are almost deal breakers for me. I just really do like all the functionality of the helmet though and it is comfortable, so I'm on the fence. Overall, it's an amazing helmet for the price, can not deny that. Lots of functionality, but some of the aesthetics are lacking for me.

Overall this is a decent helmet. Road noise is a bit annoying, but not terrible either. It is comfortable and works fine for long rides. The flip up front is great for individuals who wear glasses to to get air on warm days. Good value overall.
