Plug in, power up, problem solved.......
I bought this Tenda PH6 passthrough powerline kit to sort out some patchy Wi-Fi in the house, and it has been a game changer. Although this doesn't transmit Wi-Fi, I was able to plug this into a power outlet at a point I could not reach with conventional Wi-Fi or wired, and then plug MW-6 Mesh cube into it.... I then had Wi-Fi that was as strong as when near my other cubes. Setting it up was straightforward, even if you are not particularly tech savvy. Within minutes, I had a stable connection, and the passthrough sockets mean I haven’t lost any plug points, which is a big bonus. The process is simple - just plug them in! That is it.... With one connected by ethernet to the router and the other to a device (or in my case - a Tenda MW-6 cube) it instantly self-connected. I had to do nothing else.... Performance has been solid. Speeds are consistent, streaming works without buffering, and online VoIP calls are much smoother than before. I appreciate that it doesn’t require running long Ethernet cables across the house, which keeps everything neat and tidy. In my instance, it was not going to be an easy run, to get an ethernet cable to the other side of the house. It is great for the price, and the LEDs are just bright enough to confirm activity without being annoying. For anyone struggling with no internet in certain rooms, this is a very handy, plug-and-play solution. It has made life a lot easier and I would happily recommend it. Just remember, that this is not a Wi-Fi extender - you have to plug an ethernet cable into it, and then to the device.... or connect something that is able to generate Wi-Fi... In layman's terms - this is a like a wireless ethernet connection, except at the ends..... Connection strength using the house electrical system may also vary from house to house, so this may not be a solution for everybody..... In my case - it was perfect.

Tenda Wi-Fi Extender A33 - A Boost to Connectivity
I recently purchased the Tenda Wi-Fi Extender Booster (A33) to enhance the Wi-Fi coverage in my home, and I'm pleased with the results. **Performance:** The Wi-Fi 6 support and AX3000 dual-band capability provide a noticeable boost to the overall network speed and reliability. Streaming, gaming, and multiple device connections are handled seamlessly, thanks to the enhanced performance. **Connectivity Features:** The inclusion of a Gigabit port is a standout feature, ensuring a high-speed wired connection for devices that require it. The two high-performance antennas contribute to a wider coverage area and a more stable signal. **Versatility:** The built-in Access Point mode adds versatility to the A33. I found it easy to set up, allowing me to create a new Wi-Fi network or extend an existing one based on my needs. The UK plug design was convenient for my home setup. **Easy Installation:** Setting up the A33 was a breeze. The user-friendly interface and clear instructions made the process quick and hassle-free. The Tenda app further simplified the configuration, making it accessible for users with varying technical expertise. **Design:** The compact design and sleek aesthetics of the A33 blend well with my home environment. The device doesn't occupy much space, and the indicator lights provide a clear status overview. **Considerations:** While the A33 performed admirably in my setup, it's important to note that individual results may vary based on the specific home environment and router compatibility. **Conclusion:** Overall, the Tenda Wi-Fi Extender Booster (A33) is a commendable investment for anyone looking to enhance their Wi-Fi coverage and performance. Its Wi-Fi 6 support, dual-band capability, Gigabit port, and versatile modes make it a reliable choice for homes with diverse connectivity needs. I recommend it for users seeking a user-friendly, feature-rich Wi-Fi extender.

Excellent for wireless bridge application
I am using this device as a wireless bridge. I bought this to connect a wired network (a PC, several Raspberry Pi’s and a NAS connected together via an Ethernet Switch) to a wireless router, as it was impractical to connect the switch to the router via an Ethernet cable. I was using Powerline adapters previously but performance was limited. I installed the device in Extender mode. It was easy to set up, so no issues there – if needed download the user manual from the manufacturer’s website. The Extender is associated with a Wi-Fi 6 router (coincidentally another Tenda device - the AX3000). I then plugged an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet switch into the Extender. The wired network devices were then allocated local IP addresses from the router, as you would expect. So far, the performance is excellent! I achieve my full Internet speed while using the PC ~380Mbit/s. I cannot comment on reliability yet as I currently have only had the setup for a week or so. I have posted this review in the expectation that it might help others in the same situation.

Bargain basement but perform really well
This Broadcom based AV1000 homeplug device is slower than the QCA based Powerline 1200 kit I had before. On my gigabit broadband my speed tests average at around 200-250mbps up & down with this kit, but with my previous netgear kit it was ~300-350mbps. That using a speed test, not using the desktop apps (such as Tenda's PLC-Config tool) that tells me that I'm currently connected at a physical speed of 738mbps up and 794mbps down. So why have I given this full marks when it's slower than the alternative? Because it's ridiculously cheaper than the 1200 mbps kit! I bought this in a hurry when I broke one of my Netgear devices, and given that this is just giving me a "wired" connection in my garage this does what I want, with far more stability than wifi. In fact, I use this to provide a solid connection in the garage so I can do my day job in there as well as feed another wireless access point. The devices themselves are pretty compact of one of these adapters, provide pass-through sockets, and that's about it. The ethernet jack being on the underside isn't great for me, personally, but it works. The Tenda software (downloadable when searching) isn't particularly great, but you can use it to set the security - please ensure that you do this (you can do it without the software, too, by pressing the sync button on each device for a second within 2 mins of each other) as otherwise you could theoretically have your neighbours connecting to your network! So, in conclusion: Well cheap, work really well, if you want the speediest then you need to run a network cable, even the speedier homeplug/powerline units are going to have serious performance limitations compared to a run of Cat5e or later. If you're prepared to accept the limitations, these do the trick!

Alright
Alright, not great. WiFi still cuts out on occasion but that could be the supplier, could be the range of these, who knows.

Support from Tenda UK, PC Supplies and Amaz0n is woeful; you're on your own.
As far as a homeplug system goes, this works well, however the passthrough system that's supposed to allow you to plug another electrical plug into the socket in the front of the unit is it great. One of the units works fine, the other simply doesn't allow a plug to fit - I assume through faty manufacture as I've never been able to get a UK plug to fit - something is blocking the live pin from entering its slot, though the sprung baffle means it's impossible to tell what. Unfortunately I didn't attempt to use this feature until after the 30 day Amazon return period, so neither Amazon nor the seller, PC Supplies, would help, both giving boilerplate replies and absolving themselves of any responsibility. Tenda UK were a bit more responsive, but ultimately just kept trying to get me to speak to Amazon or PC Supplies. Err, guys, I told you they wouldn't help from the very start... Once they got bored repeating that instruction Tenda UK simply stopped replying to my emails. No one in the chain is prepared to honour the warranty I am due on these items as a UK customer meaning I won't deal with any of them again - if I can't trust them on a £30 purchase, why would I for anything more substantial? It's a shame, as the devices themselves work perfectly in every other respect but being made to feel like an inconvenience really rankles.

Must buy
I was getting all sorts of problems with the old TP Link powerline that I used to have. I hard wire the computer through the powerline and notice all sorts of problems ranging from dropped internet connections to even Netflix not working properly. I decided to bite the bullet and noticed this Tenda PH6 AV1000 passthrough on a very good price and I don't regret buying it for a moment. Installation is a breeze, I hooked it up in no time. The connection is constantly stable with no drop offs, the old TP Link connection lights used to flash constantly whereas this Tenda unit stays stable all the time. To top is off, my broadband speeds are up by 10% compared to the TP Link. Very happy with purchase and after nearly a couple of months use, no problems with it at all.
