I purchases this windchime as a housewarming gift for a friend. I usually would hesitate to purchase chimes without seeing or hearing them first. I would ordinarily look at the price, how they were packaged, constructed and how they sounded in the breeze. Since I couldn't pre-inspect them, I had to study the reviews, compare the product to others offered and make a decision using the given criteria. I'm pleased to report that my instincts paid off with this purchase in every way and the recipient was just as pleased as I was. The media could not be loaded.  So first of all, buying wind chimes is not something that I normally do, not have ever been much interested in. However, I noticed that the one I had to listen to at my mother in law's has recently started to annoy me whenever I was there, so I decided to do something about it. What bothered me about the other one was that it has started to look old and worn and the chimes simply weren't pleasant to listen to, being too high pitched and the whole contraption just seeming too flimsy. That's when I came across these from Annil which I thought would make a great gift and excuse to get rid of the old ones.From the existing pictures and description, they certainly seemed more heavy duty, much better looking and sounding, and I thought, if I don't like them, I can just return them. I was certainly pleasantly surprised!First of all, they came completely preassembled! All you have to do is hang them up! The only thing that you need to decide on is the shape of the little wind catcher at the bottom. It comes with a droplet shape attached but you can easily swap in one of the leaf or circle ones.Secondly, being made out of machined aluminum, they look to be well made, and larger than I initially imagined them, but not in a bad way. Not sure if the coating on the chimes is painted or powder coated but the finish seems quite nice and seemingly durable. The hood is also metal, and so is the steel hook to hang them up. The only thing not metal is the actual striker (not sure if that's what it's called), which is made of a very heavy duty plastic that I initially mistook for wood.The treat is the sound though! While I'm not musical in any way, shape, or form, these have a very pleasant Zen like deep tone (just don't ask me what note the tones are!). It honestly reminds me of the atmosphere of being in a Scandinavian spa at night somewhere. They sound almost mesmerizing! While I haven't had a chance to gift them yet, so hence why in the video you'll see that the plastic is pulled up, I'm absolutely certain she will love them, and my plan to get rid of the old ones (without offending her) will come together. Wish me luck!

So many great things about this Wind Chime. Let me start with the packaging. It came in a sleek, pretty black box that was so easy to open and remove. Each wind chime tube is suspended from its own single string therefore, it wasn’t a tangled mess when I removed it from the box. The sound quality is amazing. It creates a beautiful sound with every breeze. It’s a literally music to my ears. The color is matte black which is perfect for outdoor weather. And to top it off, it comes with the cutest little card and envelope so you can customize this for a gift and add a personalized message. But I’m keeping this for myself because I love everything about it. Another great thing was I ordered this and two days later I received it. Such a beautiful wind chime, great price, amazing sound and beautifully made.
