This 3M Face Testing Solution is used in conjunction with the 3M Face Testing Kit. A chamber surrounds the wearers head and face, then the solution is introduced to the air inside. If the wearer can taste the sweet or bitter solution, the respirator would fail the test for that wearer. A pass would be indicated if the wearer could not taste the solution for the duration of the test. If the test is failed, another respirator should be found until a chosen respirator passes the test. 3M offer various solutions depending on your preference. Size: 55ml. Available Options: - FT11 Sweet sensitivity taste - FT31 Bitter sensitivity taste A 3M Face Fit Test can be used on what are defined as tight fitting respirators, with the exception of full face masks. Full face masks cannot be tested because the test hood is not large enough for the mask fitted with a filter. 3M Face Fit Test can be used not only as a test method to ensure your employees are properly protected; but also as a very effective way of training in the correct way of fitting a mask.
