I'd give it 6 stars if I could
Home worker. Dual hdmi screen. Usb-c headset. Usb power. Plugged another usb hub into this. It just worked. No fuss, no nonsense with drivers. What was particularly impressive was when I detached it from my work windows 10 machine and plugged into my fedora laptop. It just worked. Very pleased. All my expensive cherry and Logitech peripherals and screen can all be used elsewhere. I moved 1 cable - spent £50 but saved hundreds. Great work Anker

Great for extending to two monitors but ethernet port overheats and stops working intermittently
I bought this to use with my Surface Pro 7 to have three screens in my home office. The USB hub works fine running the screens, and the USB ports run my webcam, wireless keyboard, and mouse. However, it does not like having an ethernet cable plugged in for long. The hub seems to overheat, and the internet connection is lost, especially when on a Teams/Zoom call. I had the same with an earlier Anker USB hub, so I use a separate ethernet hub to benefit from a wired connection.

Anker is the best!
Decided to give this Anker hub a go as I’ve had fab luck with their cables and power bank so far. This hub has been excellent so far. Use it to connect all of my various things to the laptop for work. It is literally plug and play - not had an issue getting things connected straight away when I set up each day.Better than some of the docks I had in offices I worked, which weren’t the most reliable.Nice and compact too, fits in the laptop bag and takes up very little room on my table.Highly recommended for home working.

Perfect for double monitor use.
Perfect for my home office set up. I have a laptop and two monitors so needed something with double HDMI ports. I also use this to plug into my internet (as the WiFi doesn't reach through my walls), connect my keyboard, and charge my phone. It has everything I need and is nice and compact.

I believe there is a fault with this model
I needed this to power a 4k screen at 60hz via HDMI and it would NOT work when I booted the computer up. I had to keep unplugging the whole hub and plugging it back in.After a while that stopped working too.Anker support was amazing and sent me a replacement, but that had the same fault, and then the replacement stopped working too.I was beginning to think it was the laptop when I bought a lention 8-in-1 usb c hub for 50% less than this cost, and it has worked perfectly ever since. It's very unlikely that I got 2 faulty hubs from Anker in a row, I think it's far more likely there is something wrong with this model, and a few other 1* reviews have the same complaint as me.Anker are usually a good reliable brand, but this model is a dud. Sorry.

Better than cheap alternatives
Bought this to replace some no-brand hub which had started to fail after a couple of years. This was super easy to set up and has worked flawlessly ever since. You get what you pay for, and if you can get this on an offer then even better!

Not great for charging
It is easy to set up. Plugged everything in and it just works.USB-C into laptop. HDMI and ethernet both work fine but soon noticed that the laptop has a warning triangle on the battery charge state. It says it is only charging slowly as the charger needs to be more powerful. Not powering or charging anything else.I'm using the manufacturers charger so it isn't passing all the power through. That must be why it gets quite warm.Half marks.
