Used this during a snowstorm and it melted the ice fast. Easy to spread and made my walkway much safer. No mess and worked even in really cold weather. Definitely keeping this on hand all winter.

Second year of getting this kind melt. This worked great and was the perfect amount for 2 winters clearing my back porch and driveway. Spreads easily and snow starts melting within minutes of application which is great for kick starting the melting process on a slick driveway or walkway. I have a husky who has walked over a bit of it, and although I don't let him lick it off the pavement, he had no paw irritation from it especially since I would just brush it away with a towel when he would come inside.

Arrived earlier than expected and has worked well on the ice we have been having. No residue left on my sidewalks. After doing some more comparison, it was a bit more than I should have paid but it's doing it's job

Worked well on ice +10 F during a cold spell that lasted days after rain. Very difficult to open. I thought it was just me, so I was relieved to read the other reviews. The scoop is helpful, the container though heavy is well balanced. Probably would not purchase again, prefer the pet friendly ice melt that is tinted blue. All of these products are expensive.
