Unexpected Quality -- solid gear
For the price point, I expected this to be lighter weight and a little flimsy. Not so! VERY happily surprised and the weight and quality of all the parts. This thing is built to last. Like that they included different mic clips. The knobs/tighteners all hold their position rock-solid after tightening. Very happy with this mic stand and I've owned quite a few through the years -- home recording and in & out of bands. This is solid gear.

Cheap, light, a little flimsy, and worth getting for light occasional use.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Needed a budget, simple stand for occasional use. I will keep it. Here's why: It it light, thin tubing and a little fragile? Yes Would it hold up to gig work and travel? No Is it heavy and stable? No Is it too tall for a short singer? Yes --Then why keep it? Great for occasional use Conclusion: This is light, cheap mic stand that does the job and is worth getting if this is what you need. I may get a second one.

Kinda tippy but definitely does the job
This mic stand is a great small form factor mic stand. It has a nice telescoping boom making it very adjustable. When I play live acoustic shows the boom of a standard stand would get knocked into by partiers, I can tailor the length of the boom for a good compromise of balance and obstacle reduction. I liked the stand enough to buy 2, but the inner boom arm is pretty thin, so it's not the kind of stand I expect you can beat up too much, I am going to rave about the knobs, they feel nice, tighten well without too much pressure and feel very solid.

Fine for the price
I’ll start by saying that this mic stand is not heavy duty, regardless of what the seller description says. For the price, it’s fine if your mic isn’t too heavy. Mine was missing one of the clips and adapters. I got the chip clip one but not the standard one. The vertical pole isn’t one piece, it’s a couple short poles that get screwed together. These are potential weak points or at best, points that might need to be periodically tightened back up. It will do fine for my home studio but there is no way that I’d take it out for a gig. It’s worth the $25 that these cost but I wouldn’t pay more than that for them.

Excellent Value and product. (Riser is comprised of 3 segments, but surprisingly sturdy)
I'm sing and play guitar (decades) and have had many mic stands over the years, I may have had this model years ago sans the segmented riser, with just a straight riser-pole as opposed to this one that comes in 3 sections. I don't prefer the 3 segment idea, but they designed it quite well and I now see no issues, this feature allows them to ship in a smaller package, and their may be a few users that will benefit from being able to collapse the stand for whatever reason, plus the segments allow the stand to be much shorter than standard for various applications. I may have read a review or two before purchasing this stand, regarding instability, and durability, but I don't see any issues there, surely their are more stout mic stands but I'm not in the kind of environment to have that be a concern. As a guitar player, a 'boom' stand like this so convenient, as I don't have to deal with hitting the riser with guitar as I'm playing and singing simultaneously. A BIG PLUS, really big, is that the horizontalish' 'boom' or mic holder assembly is length-adjustable, this feature is nothing short of brilliant, as in the past, I have literally cut off and shortened at least one of my boom segments as it was way too long and hazardous. I will buy this model again as needed. I forgot to mention that this stand also looks pretty amazing.

It's cheaply made and doesn't last a full year.
It falls apart very quickly so then it cannot keep the microphone in place. So then the microphone slides down away from facing up to my mouth. it's very cheaply made. it will just fall over on itself all the time. When you tighten the adjusters to keep the arm at an angle the arm will start drooping down. dont buy this.
