The URPOWER 27 Oz Large Dog Water Bottle, Double Wall Insulated Stainless Steel Dog Travel Water Bottle is well built and my lab drinks readily from it when we are traveling or are out and about. The double wall comes in handy in southern Nevada heat! I like the fold-out food grade silicone drinking bowl and the way the unit turns on and shuts off. I don't flush water back into the bottle after my dog has drunk so don't know how well that works. I want her to have fresh water not recycled water when we're out. I like this unit over the plastic ones because it is insulated, less likely to break, and it’s double walled construction for maintaining water temperature. It also has a large capacity for my lab, a large dog. So far it hasn’t leaked and I am happy for that. The bottle is also contoured and fits my hand comfortably. Paired with the WICKTICK Molle Water Bottle Holder Pouch 16 24 32 40 64 oz - Multi-Purpose Tactical Fuel Bottle Bag I find the two items a great outdoor combination for my use. I would buy both products again.

Awesome! Keeps cold and keeps ice for a few hours. Perfect for our hikes. Our pup prefers to drink from streams, but he will take to it when he has no other choice. It’s easy for him to drink from it. It would be nice if there were a carrying case or strap, but we were able to easily add a carabiner clip. No leaks so feed far.

Works as described and does its job well. FYI, be careful and double check that the bottle doesn’t leak from the spout after each use. When I pour the excess water back in and seal it up, turning the bottle upside down causes a slight leakage. Not sure if it’s just water that didn’t make it fully into the bottle or if its a lock/spout seal issue

I don’t usually write reviews, but I CANNOT rave enough about this canteen!! lol It’s been a year and I think now is a great time to write a review on this. I have tried a variety of dog canteens between the plastic ones and steel and I’d have to say this is our personal BEST choice! The size of canteen and “bowl” is absolutely perfect! The stop button and water retractability works great with ease and we had no leaks either! I have a large breed dog and we go to dog parks, hikes and everywhere in between on car rides with each other. This bottle is great for ANY size dogs as we have become so popular at our dog parks. Lol We constantly have pups running up to us for a drink and not use their own. Idk if it’s the flexible “bowl” material that they prefer but it’s definitely a HIT in our community. We had ours for 1 year now and it’s still going strong!! Here are my pros and cons: PROS -Holds a sizable amount of water -LOVE the size of the opening on this bottle as it is big enough for us to add ice on those hot summer days for dog parks or hikes. NOW - be advised this is NOT like our human canteen and it does not keep ICE from melting. We only had 2-3 ice cubes KNOWING that in an hour or so the ice would have melted and water would just be “cool” enough when given to our dog. Feeding our dogs super ice cold water is actually not good for them - so please know that. ALSO - with how big the opening is - it is SUPER EASY TO CLEAN compared to other brands where it’s so small. That’s a HUGE plus for us. -Very Sturdy material but still light weight! I’ve accidentally dropped it several times but it never dented or leaked water. -No signs of rust at all CONS -Wish it came with more colors! Hoped this helps you in your dog hydration journey! This has been am amazing addition to our puppy outings. I can bring my puppy cool water and the bowl is attached. When I pulled it out at puppy class, no less than 4 others wanted the info about it. I believe this was one of my favorite puppy purchases.

The bottle keep the water cold and the flip out blow is big, which works great for my Labrador. If my dog doesn’t drink all the water I can push the button and drain the unused water back into the bottle

I've tried a couple of the other competitors of this style of dog water bottle/flask. For me, it seems to always come down to the valve system that controls the water coming out. Some are better than others. This one does alright. Nothing stellar but nothing that would make me want to return it at this point. I've only had this under a week and have used it every day with our dog. So, time will tell if my review on this will stay that same. ---Pros--- -Insulated. Some clone versions of this flask are not insulated (double walled). Keeps drinks cold longer. -Fits in cup holders. Maybe not all cup holders but seems to fit perfectly in a ToyotaRav4 and a little snug in a Ford F-150 (see photos) - but still fits. See photos. -Good wide bowl -Simply-shaped bottom of bottle making it easier to fit in cup holders -Wide fill opening to allow ice cubes ---Cons--- -The valve system, like the others that look like this could use some improvement. Occasional leaking even when the valve is closed after closing the valve, tipping it over and shaking it to make sure it's done draining. Come back to it after a walk, tip it to check (without opening valve) and a set amount of water will trickle out of the spout. Not sure why. It isn't a steady flow leak it just somehow fills in the chamber after walking and swinging the bottle around for a while. -The water opening could be designed better to allow more water to be recycled back into the bottle. There is always wasted water when recycling back into the bottle due to the design allowing water to be trapped below the spout/opening lip. (See video/photos). I drew a blue line near the spout in one of the photos to where the manufacturer could improve the design - by extending the opening lower or adding an additional lower opening so the water below that lip could drain back into the bottle. -The circle strap end is of stretchy rubber material. I thought it would be more of a rubberized plastic or maybe thicker rubber. When the bottle is full (as shown) it stretches it pretty good. This is static. It stretches a bit more while walking or swinging the bottle around. We'll see how it holds up after continued use. -No color options. It seems this only comes in one color - gray. -No rubber sleeve or protector for the bottom of the bottle to protect from dings and dents. If your dog is not used to drinking from something like this, you may need to practice and give them a little time to learn. This was more like 3.5 stars. But there is no option for that. 3 stars is above average. I will keep looking out for better designed clones of this style and maybe someone out there will get the valve design nail down. Given the cons, I would still recommend this water bottle.
