This thing slaps!
I've been searching far and wide for the perfect home speaker for our den. I've tried speakers that cost two to four times as much and have always been disappointed. Either too bright, not enough bass, empty, hollow, weak, you name it. I tried the JBL Authentics 500, Marshall Woburn III, KEF LSX II LT, and Cambridge Audio Evo One. In all fairness, the Cambridge Audio Evo One was obviously better than The Three, but it also costs $1500, and I couldn't justify it. Honestly, I believe The Three is 90% of the Evo One for less than 1/4 of the price.I have an original Klipsch The One and have always been very impressed with the amount and quality of sound that comes out of such a small box. So I thought I would give it's big brother a try and I was able to get The Three Plus used/like new for a great price. My search is over! This speaker far exceeds my expectations and destroys most other similar speakers that cost much more. Very full range, warm sound, but not weak in the mid's or high's at all. It's also very smooth and not shrill or harsh, like many Klipsch speakers (horn loaded). It can also effortlessly get very loud with near wall shaking bass. A subwoofer is NOT required, which is something I was looking for. Can't be more pleased with this thing, I've been searching for the right speaker for months. My only complaint is that it doesn't have native Airplay2/network support. Apparently the USB port can power a Wiim Mini and that can be plugged into the RCA ports or optical port to add that functionality. I would suspect that the Wiim has a better DAC than The Three, so RCA is probably the way to go. It honestly doesn't need it unless you are hyper critical of your music purity.

High Quality Sound
I was not ready for how impressive this unit is. Klipsch has always been a name synonymous with great craftsmanship but until now I hadn’t experienced it firsthand. The ease of setup was a welcome relief but the sound is what we’re here for and it is incredible. This little unit fills our dining room and living room with an amazing amount of full, detailed sound. The bass is just what you’d want, full throated and deep but not buzzy. The highs and mids are right where they should be and the volume can get as loud as you want it. Looks wise, it’s understated and beautiful with a substantial weight to it. All in all this blows away any competition and is a must buy if you’re in the market for one.

Great replacement for good conventional amp/speakers
Great speaker!! Have both a One Plus and Three Plus. Replaced very good conventional stereo equipment in 2 different rooms. Great sound (The Three obviously is a little better but The One is pretty amazing too.). Blue Tooth connection from iPhone 12 and iMac Studio are easy and reliable. Volume control is a little too granular if you use side volume buttons on iPhone, but works great if you use slider in Control Panel. Volume adjusts well from my Apple Watch also.

Pretty good
Pros:1. Nice looking and well built2. Multiple inputs3. Can link wirelessly multiple units in Broadcast mode4. Phone app has volume and eq for each speaker. Also has auto on feature5. Reasonably pricedCons:1. No remote2. Phone app is VERY slow to connect3. No sub out or way to pair a sub4. Can't enter or control broadcast mode thru the phone app. Must physically press a button on each speaker. If you're changing inputs you have to press again each time to re enter broadcast mode which only works with Bluetooth mode. If you use the optical or rca input the unit can NOT enter broadcast mode. So if you need to link multiple units it will require a physical connection.Verdict:This unit has some issues in spite of its nice features. It does sound good but the phone app isn't good. It's slow to connect and doesn't stay connected. It's time consuming. Wish it had a regular remote. I ended up just using the rca inputs and hard wiring my system. I have 6 units as part of a stereo/ home theater. I control the volume with a preamp and have a separate EQ. I don't use the phone app. Big plus is I have subwoofers this way too. There is no way to add or pair a subwoofer to this unit. Big drawback if you want the best sound. The bass on this unit isn't impressive. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and would recommend as a stand alone unit or multi room units using only Bluetooth broadcast mode. I do wish it had a sub out, a better app and the ability to enter broadcast mode regardless of which input you use.

Very poor audio quality
Recognizing the small size of the unit, I did not expect full blown concert level sound, but I did expect far better than I got. This unit produces sound that is on par with a vintage transistor radio. The unit functions well and pairing to my smartphone was very straightforward, but playing any form of music from Sirius XM resulted in serious disappointment. I will not be purchasing another of this item.

Aesthetic and intuitive but sound sucks
Only reason I havn’t returned this is its looks. User interface for Bluetooth connection to phone is easy and intuitive. Haven't tried linking boxes and won’t be buying another. The sound quality is very mediocre. The included EQ app only has 4 music type settings and limited adjustment for bass, mid, and treble. Audio is muddy and mid range really lacks. If it didn’t fit so perfect with the decoration style of the space it’s in, I wouldn’t keep it.
