Army Men: Value Pack - PC

Very Good

I have senn these games too many times to really care about them anymore. ARMY MEN is a generally shallow strategy game, but shows its age. ARMY MEN II and ARMY MEN TOYS IN SPACE have better graphics, and are ganerally more fun to play. ARMY MEN AIR TACTICS is a good flying game, but is sorely lacking in the mission design. Overall, if you have not played any of these before, you will probably enjoy this. If you own these, or have played them before, there is nothing new here.

Army Men- Hard controls. Many difficult levels to keep you playing all night. Cool graFX. WW2-based enviroments.Army Men II- My personnal fave; Also my first. Improved graFX. Great comedy. Better Plot. I like it more because you fought in the real world. Kitchen sinks, blenders, toy castle, etc.Army Men Toys in Space- My second fave. Best plot. More characters. More ammo. Great Buy.Army Men Air Attack- Cool graFX. Same ol' plot. Different set of characters. OK buy.Overall, BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!

This game was great. It was not really one game, however, it was four. It contained the classic Army Men game, in which plastic army men fight for world domination. It also contained army men 2, similar to army men, but has more levels, troops, weapons and more multiplayer madness, but it doesn't stop there, you also recieve the ever popular army men toys in space, in which Sarge and his troops fight along side Tina Tommorow and her space toys against the evil tan army and a host of hideous space creatures. In addition to that, you get Army men air tactics, in which you fight in a helicopter, providing much needed air support to your green troops... If there is any reason not to buy this game, I haven't heard it.

I don't see how you can pass this one up. You get four games for the price of one! Each game has it's own little twist, with the same major army men theme in mind. If you've ever played with army men when you were a kid this game puts the action into the plastic men. You basically receive mission assignments from the leader and act them out as sarge, fighting your own battles and leading your army against the other; you can drive tanks, trucks, burn the enemy up with your blow torch, use hand granades, machine guns, and several other weapons. Green vs. Tan this game is cool.
