absolutely the best for electronic connections
the very best product for electronic connections improves voltage with a great connection for all electronic plugs use this for all connections I used this for my cars and you can feel the difference the increased voltage back to normal operation makes all sensors function properly just a little goes a long way you can apply with a pin or a toothpick in each contact and your on your way to optimal performance and this will save you money on repair cost from corrosion loss of contact on sensors that are still good and keep your car running at its best remember your car runs by electricity for all components but is powered by gas the increase in voltage transmits into premium operating conditions better sensor operation equals better gas mileage simply a great product a must for any device whether its your car or another electronic device remember all you need is a pin point drop this is conductive and will transfer any current so very little is needed apply it plug it in then unplug to clean off squeeze out if you put to much in and plug it back in and you on your way to better connections better performance from any device I took the time to write this because this product is the ultimate choice for increased connections but not everybody understands that a little means a little so when I stated that a pin head sized amount is all you need that's exactly what you need THANK YOU MG FOR THIS PRODUCT I RATE THIS AT INFINITE STARS NOT FIVE FOR ITS QUALITY AND INCREASED PERFORMANCE THAT IT GIVES YOU FOR THE PRICE A SUPER VALUE FOR A LITTLE DAB WILL DO YA! YEAH!

Does its job. Surprisingly easy to clean up.
It's conductive! It is also intensely black, and extreme care needs to be taken to avoid getting it on anything you don't want. So far, I've been unable to use this without making an unintended mess. Fortunately, it cleans easily with soap and water, as well as a number of wet cleaning wipes I've tried.

I tried in a non-standard application...
I used it to help the contact on my heart-rate monitor (Garmin). It did what I expected, it solidified the conductivity and fixed the performance. However, it really is black, it's a mess and difficult to clean. It shouldn't be used as I tried :-). So, yes, it worked. But I don't recommend it for this non-standard application. I own this mistake! No issue with the product itself.

Good product. Highly recommend this saw.
Very happy with this. In wet environments I need conductive grease to enhance conductivity while water proofing leads and connections.

Great stuff.
Great stuff. I learned about this on a golf maintenance website of all things. The author talked about how dielectric grease is not the thing to use on instrument panel and other electrical connectors as it can make things worse. Dielectric grease is an insulator. If you have good contact it will keep water out and protect. If you don’t you aren’t improving your connection. Enter conductive grease. What I did… clean the connector pin holes with contact cleaner if needed, let dry and carefully apply this… VERY little… in each hole with a toothpick or similar. Then be sure to wipe across it with brake cleaner on a paper towel to remove any residue. You just want it in each socket hole on the metal connectors. This stuff is conductive and you don’t want it bridging pins. Most electrical connectors however have a separate hole for each pin separated by plastic so it’s hard to do. This grease improves the conductivity and will protect from corrosion. This tube is huge and you’ll have it for the rest of your life. Plan on leaving it in your will. Someone will thank you in their prayers. It’s great stuff.

Works great for my need
Roller bearings used to conduct electricity while in motion. This stuff works great to prevent arcing/flickering for an application where electricity is conducted from a track through roller bearings. The voltage range in this case is 60-70 VAC, so any resistance/voltage drop, if negligible, if there is any. It can be messy if you accidentally touch it and then touch other surfaces - but the consistency is like a paste, so there's no dripping or anything that can get out of control. Just use a q-tip or small paint brush to apply it, and wipe away any excess with a paper towel / rubbing alcohol.

One answer for loss of continuity in hostile environments.
If you are having issues with losing continuity on environmentally exposed connections I can recommend this product. I reiterate that a very small amount of this product goes a long way. Don’t get it on your hands because it is tenacious and is difficult to remove without copious amounts of detergent and a scrub brush. I have used it in plug in connections exposed to elements under the car hood and I use a wooden tooth pick to take a small amount of this product to swipe the inside of the receptacle socket and then assemble the connections. It keeps water at bay and the carbon allows for a better electrical connection surface. I recommend this product. Do not get sloppy with this product and just slap it on when the positive and negative poles are close to each other. The possibility of creating an electrical short is high if you are not diligent regarding the application and being discreet with regard to where the product will reside.

More thoughtful packaging would improve this product.
This is inescapably messy stuff. The black goo is just as happy sticking to your clothes and hands as it is sticking to electrical connections. It really needs to come packaged in teeny tubes like superglue, with teeny nozzles. My tube did NOT have the skinny extended nozzle shown in the illustration -- instead it had a simple tooth-paste-tube size screw cap and nozzle. The small nozzle would have been better. But it seems to work.
