Always needed a pair
I’ve always wanted one of these but always just made what I had work. I got into CNC milling recently and I’m glad I chose these as my first pair cause they are everything I dreamed they’d be. Great quality and accuracy. Feels nice in the hand. Value for my money and a display that’s easy to read.

Work pretty well
all metal, and very accurate as intended. glad I got them, much better than the old plastic ones I had.

Well-made and accurate
I like that these are all metal, and the battery cover is held on by a screw, instead of a slide cover that always gets lost. What I didn't like was that I couldn't find a 12" one like this that reads out in fractional inches. Still a great tool and a decent price.

This is not a proper measuring instrument at all, it is barely useable.
I thought I could use a smaller caliper for some tight spots and bought this. It was a horrible mistake. If you close the jaws and look at them against a light, you can see they are not parallel.Accuracy is abysmal. It gets 0.2mm off at 3mm size. This the only digital caliper I've see that is worse than my simple Vernier caliper without a dial. I have a plastic digital caliper that works better than this thing. The jaws do not close properly, the gap seems to be about 0.02mm at least. With some pressure, the gap closes fully or partially. Because of this, zeroing the instrument reliably is completely impossible.Measuring depth with the depth probe doesn't work either. If you zero the caliper by closed jaws and then measure zero depth on a flat surface, it shows 0.15 millimiters. The surface from where the depth probe is protruding is also too narrow and too uneven. It's too difficult to press it agains a flat surface properly when measuring depth.I regret this purchase deeply.

Surprisingly good!
These are cheap calipers and my expectations were modest. However, they are surprisingly smooth in operation and the buttoms have a very distinctive "click" which I really like. Zeroing is very repeatable. I have Clockwise and Mitutoyu calipers and I think these aren't disappointing in any way although some of the ground edges are sharp and you may want to break them to make them smoother to the touch. Highly recommended for this price bracket.

Accurate tool at a good price.
For the work I’m doing now, it serves my purpose for an accurate tool. I plan to purchase a larger caliper soon and I will definitely be looking at buying from Scitools again.

Works real well at a great price.
Nothing to dislike. I build guitar amps, and require accuracy.
