I couldn't pass up an Amazon deal on the Rainbow colors six-pack even though I knew their best by date is 3 weeks from the date of purchase. Because I share these bags with others, I know they will be consumed before the 23rd of August. What I did not like, however, is that the manufacturer's box which simply had a mailing label and some other stickers plastered on had obviously been bitten into by something that was able to perforate a chunk out of the cardboard and the outer paper lining of one of the bags. (I suspect it was a machine and not an animal.) Since the interior bag was still sealed, the Goldfish were not harmed, and I decided to open that torn bag immediately and began counting from 1 to 55 as I put each one into my mouth, and then I stopped because that is a single serving and I didn't want to overeat. Because I could easily count out another 55 rainbow-colored goldfish when I next notice the bag on my countertop today, perhaps I should write the date in a Sharpie on the paper bag and mark it again after each helping. I may be imagining it, but these Goldfish have less salt and oil than the extra cheesy Goldfish which I usually buy. I like this variety even more because, unlike M&M's, I probably will be able to identify the color with my eyes closed if I stop inhaling the 55. Oh yeah, the kids love these, too.

My 2.5 year old grandson loves these crackers. Accordingly my wife bought a couple bags and put them in the pantry for when he visits. I was in the doghouse when she found out I ate them all before he came to visit. Well, I learned my lesson and ordered this two packed and each is about the size of a half gallon of milk. I am pretty sure I’ll see my grandson before these are gone. About 1 percent of the reviews said that their boxes of goldfish crackers were stale. In view of that, I tested mine right away and they were fresh and delicious. Enjoy!

Great tasting! Great value for the money

I bought a carton of these Goldfish Mega Bites, Sharp Cheddar Crackers, 26.7 Oz Carton. Lately, I have been disappointed with the lack of cheddar cheese flavor with the regular sized Goldfish, so I thought I'd give these Mega Bites a try. These are larger, but not as as large as I had been expecting. They are a more orange "cheddar" color, but still not very "cheddar'ish" in flavor. The Goldfish Crackers in my carton also seemed a bit on the stale side, even though the BB date is still about 5 months from now. I probably won't buy these again.

This fun an cheezy snack for everyone. It is probably healthier than chips. My kids loved them. They are fun to eat and play with them in the bowl. They are another fun way to get some more calcium in the body to build up strong bones. The cheezy flavor is light and not overwhelming to my kids or me. It is probably great to have it as a midday and afternoon snack with coffee or tea. Just open it up like a milk carton and pour it out into a bow or hand palm. I knocked off a star for packaging because once you opened it, the package does not really have a way to seal it back up to keep it fresh. I used basic office binder clips or chip clips to close up the opening.
