The design is spot-on — it looks just like the axe from the game, which immediately got tmy son excited. Combining Minecraft and Nerf is a brilliant idea, and this toy delivers on both fronts. The dart blasting feature is easy to use. You pull down the handle to prime it, then press the trigger to fire — simple enough for younger kids to handle on their own. It comes with 6 Nerf Elite foam darts, which are soft and safe for indoor play. The darts fire with decent power and accuracy for a toy blaster, especially one that’s shaped like an axe. Build quality is solid for a themed toy. Very Durable and has held up well to some pretty active play, the top part of the Axe is starting to bend in with play. The mix of roleplay (swinging the axe) and dart blasting adds a fun twist and keeps my son engaged longer than a standard blaster might. One thing to note is that it only fires one dart at a time and has no storage for the extras, so be prepared to reload often — or keep a dart pouch handy. Bottom line: If your child loves Minecraft and Nerf, this is a fantastic combo toy. It’s a great addition to any Nerf collection and makes a fun, creative gift at a reasonable price. This Nerf Minecraft Firebrand Blaster is even better than I expected. The design looks exactly like the game, and the bright colors make it easy to spot in the yard. Kids love it. I like that it can be used as a nerf gun or just a non shooting toy axe. The quality is good. It is easy for kids to use on their own.

Awesome toy. I'm impressed. It's solidly built. The primer is not too hard for kids to pull back and durable. Has soft foam on front and back of the axe head to prevent injuries, or so the kids dont break things. The bottom of the handle stores 2 darts.

You have to cock it for every shot and It only uses these specific darts that come with it. Otherwise very fun!

Ordered on 12/3 and it just arrived last night on 12/13, so that was a bit of stress for us, but other than that we’re happy with our purchase. It’ll go perfect with all of the other Minecraft Nerf things that we got for Christmas! I’m sure we’ve got one of these somewhere on the farm because it looks so familiar, but these are so much fun to play with for my kids! Incredible for the price, especially when you can catch them on sale like we did!!

My son loves this. Works as expected.

The points of the ax are covered in a thin but dense foam which helps keep little brother safer. The dart shooting mechanism works quite well, much to the delight of our grandson. I urge caution if shooting around others because of the dart velocity. It makes for a good opportunity to teach firearm safety.
