I know these are for children but i bought these for a client who is an adult. I’m a caregiver and i take care of a 78 year old woman who has suffered two strokes and has Alzheimer’s disease. She really likes stim stuff like bubble wrap, Velcro and snappy buttons but she also enjoys writing, and drawing or painting circles. I knew she’d either love these or have nothing to do with them and getting them for her would be a small risk in that sense but i branched out anyway. Turns out she really likes them! Especially the donut one because she can move the pen in circles to follow the outline of the donuts. She enjoys the scented brushes as well (maybe another stim thing?) i enjoy the minimal clean up and how convenient these are and the fact that they can be used over and over and over again. We’ve used them more times than i can count and they’re still in perfect condition! A little secret—her husband and myself both like to use them as well! 😂 Turns out they’re pretty relaxing and i might get some for myself as well as my nieces. Really a great product.

Great item for travel and mess free play! we love bringing these when we travel because it only uses water, so we don't have to worry about any rogue coloring. They also dry and can keep being reused. Great toy to have on hand and great gift to give.

These water paint books are perfect for any little that need to be kept busy! The pen is super easy to fill and doesn't drip water continuously. Perfect for a long car ride or an easy night time activity, without the mess. The pages dry relatively quickly for a quick clean up.

Very cute alternative to the Melissa & Doug versions. The colors are bright and pictures hold a toddler’s attention. The brush smells nice - it is a mild smell, not overwhelming (we try to keep scents to a minimum because of sensitivity). The brush tip is a little more stiff than other brands’, and it feels like it was glued or matted together. Four stars only because it’s a few (thick) pages long; a little more content for the price would be nice.

These are my new preferred grab-and-go activity, because they are RE-USABLE and my kids haven't gotten bored with them yet. I was so excited to use the Crayola color wonder products, but the sheets were one time use and my young child would chew on the tips. This product is much better to have on hand. I have my two year old hold the brush like a pencil and she gets amazing fine motor practice. It keeps her busy for a solid 30 minutes or more. When the pages dry, she can start all over. I highly recommend this product.

This is more like a 2.5. I bought these for my 3 year old daughter because I was tired of spending $8+ on the ColorWonder books for her to give her something to do when we travel instead of handing her a game device. Great concept, and I love the different ideas/themes and even the little scents they added for more sensory stimulation, BUT and this is a big one... the water pens SUCK!! The part of the pen that holds water only just barely sits loosely into the bottom making it like a reservoir. They DO NOT lock together! So little grabby hands like my 3 year old (and I'm sure mine isnt the only one) go to grab the pen from me, or whoever may have it, and just the top part of the pen gets yanked away, spilling water everywhere! Make sure to have paper towels or a dry cloth with you when using this product! There is no way you can travel with this pen when it has water in it, also, there is no way to keep the one with the book once you open the packaging.

Great product!!! Just do not allow your toddler to slam the brush end on any hard surface. Our brush came lose on one and had to thread it back through the writing end. Still worked great afterwards.

These water books are perfect for toddlers! especially if they are not good with markers quite yet. When they realize the picture is revealed after the water is painted on, they get very surprised and is a fun experience. No Mess whatsoever! I think it was a cute idea too, to make the tops of the water Pens scented as my daughter gets a kick out of it
