very good cable guide is a good fit in our deep racks
I'm using several of these at my work, where we've added them to "deep" APC AR3300 racks. These go in back, on the same mounts where you could hang a second layer of PDUs.Easy fit. When empty, they feel like they'll pop out at a touch, but with a few cables in them they stay perfectly in place. The drawback of this sort of guide is once it's "full", you can't squeeze in any more. So if you didn't plan accurately, there'll be ugly cabling hanging on the outside of that guide.Cable management is a must if you're not buying fully populated racks. Only drawback with these is they fill up well before the rack does (we have 2-3 cable runs to every machine), so you'll need one on each side (at least). Recommended.

Best cable management is vertical
I rigged these up to an older rack by drilling through it and screwing them to the frame, which works fine, was able to keep them clear of the rack holes so equipment can come and go no problem. Two of these running the length of the rack on both sides, left for data right for power. Run everything through them, pull them laterally where needed, use velcro to clean up a little from there, and you have a very manageable rack. I see zero point to horizontal cable management. These are relatively cheap and, if you have a drill, universally useful.

HUGE hooks to hold power cables, network cables, and more!
What impressed me the most about this cable management tool is just how big the hooks are! They are 3in deep and 1in wide. This means you can run power cables, network cables, and KVM cables in it. Also, the hooks have a slight bend to them so you can really, REALLY load them up with all sorts of cables. The 20u fits into half-height racks quite nicely. In fact, I'm looking at getting a second one. It installs quickly and easily too. Just a win-win all around. I highly recommend StarTech gear for your equipment racks.

It's not 3 feet long
This is 2 inches short of 3 feet. I needed those 2 inches to be able to reach the mounting holes in my rack so I had to return this. The manufacturer drawings do show it's not 3 feet long but I bought it based on the amazon listing which said it was 3 feet. It did otherwise seem well made while I had it out of the box. I gave it 3 stars because if I had keyhole mount points in my rack, this would have worked well. I deducted 2 stars due to the listing being inaccurate.
