I really like this cup. It is a bigger size as I am trying to increase my daily liquid intake. So I now fill my cup in the morning and put in kitchen to encourage myself to take a few sips every time I walk through the kitchen. I do not fill cup with extra ice, but do want my drink to stay cold. This works great for my as it does remain cold all day. By supper time there is still some ice remaining and I can enjoy it with my meal. I also like the option of a straw or drinking straight from the cup. Quick and easy to clean and ready for reuse. This cup beats the others that I have tried for keeping drink cold. I also like that this cup does fit the car cup holder. That is a big plus for me. My drink lasts during all my stops and is not melted or lukewarm. Great cup. Definitely recommend. Very happy with this purchase.

I got this to try to drink more water (and to accurately track how much I WAS drinking). Also, I wanted to decorate it (pics attached).Stanley’s are easy to carry, and the grip is comfortable; keep your drink at the desired temperature (my preferred temp is “warm”) and are durable. I’ve dropped mine, hit it against walls- I’m clumsy, etc. And, most importantly, everyone will know you’re cool if you have one now 🙄I wanted to die of embarrassment when I got my first one, but honestly, the engineering is amazing. They’re popular because they’re great!Here are a few insights: The 40oz is heavy. The 32 is going to be better if you will need to carry it around a lot. That’s my two cents. Also, they recommend handwashing “if the color matters to you.” I’ve been using the dishwasher on my 32 oz, and the handle is getting “musty” looking. So that’s that. It's no biggie, but that’s what will happen. (Maybe a magic eraser will help?)The bottom line? They’re amazing at maintaining temperature, the straw hole doesn’t leak, they’re comfortable to carry, they’re durable, and they're popular (if you care, lol).I’m on the bandwagon and now yelling the praises.

I’ve put hot coffee in in the morning and it’s still warm and drinkable 8 hours later. For cold drinks I’ve put in Gatorade and ice and 20/24 hits later there is still ice. It has a screw on lid which I much prefer over press in kind. It comes with a straw for cold drinks and has an opening on the lid just for the straw. Or you can spin the closure bar around for a solid fit. I’ve owned several brands of thermos type mugs including that very high priced one and for me this out performs them all for a lot less money. I would definitely recommend buying and I will purchase more in the future..if needed.
