I hated it, didn’t even like the genre, and laughed at this game when it launched and was happy to see how people hated it because of its unfinished state. But, It has such a wonderful story, and such a good DLC (that is phantom liberty). Go for it, just make sure you have enough time to give to it, it will be fun.

Ultimate edition is a great package. Comes with latest patch which fixed most of the issues the game had earlier and makes the game substantially polished, bug free and fun to play now. After disappointing release the team has pulled off the impossible in fixing the game to make it one of the greatest games of the decade. Cdprojektred certainly learned from the sheer criticism and hit it out of the park with this one after the witcher 3. Phantom liberty is a fantastic expansion with a compelling story and offers some fresh gameplay mechanics. Would recommend to buy if open world RPGs excite you as much as it does to me.
