Works as advertised. Basically a resistor internally in a black box .

This resistor is designed so you unplug an airbag and plug this device into the airbag supply line... By doing this, it tricks the factory computer into believing the airbag is providing the correct resistance and therefore it cancels the warning light.... When this happens, you will know that is the airbag that is bad..
