A great product that works as intended. A must have for extra precaution and safety.

This is some amazing stuff! I bought it because my new Cub Cadet ZT2 zero turn mower has a rear mounted engine and low muffler with a heat shield that gets hot after some use. Then while parked in the grass and turned off for cleaning, it was leaving a scorch mark on the grass from the hot heat shield. Placing the carbon felt between the muffler and heat shield, held in place using paper clamps, after an hour of use, I can place my hand on the heat shield and it's just warm, not burning hot. And, grass does not stick to the felt, it blows off easily with leaf blower cleaning of the mower.

This worked great in my RV where I had some electronics that run hot. Just to be safe, wanted a barrier between the rv walls and the unit. This was easily trimmed and stapled in place.

Very nice and smooth, it insulates very well. It insulates very well, but we had it on a ceramic kiln, at 2000°F inside, and put a little ceramic tile on one place, and the felt "melted" away there. The heat needs to pass through the felt; we could still touch the felt on the outside.

I really like this product. I used it to make a hood shield for the turbo on my Mini to replace the stock shield that was worn out. Does the job just fine, and it's flameproof. I would order again. Amazon delivery was great.

Works as advertised. Put a torch to it and it just singed it a bit. I brought it for my DIY solar generator where the majority of the wiring and devices are in a drawer (hard to explain), but I stapled this blanket above it. So if a fire does occurs it shouldn’t last long enough to burn the wood, which is also treated with a flame retardant solution too.

I trimmed it to fit my pellet smoker. Fits nicely and easy to trim.

Ich habe nach einer sicheren Abdeckung für meinen Kamin gesucht, damit meine Katzen nicht direkt auf den heißen Ofen springen können. Diese Matte ist dafür eine perfekte Lösung. Selbst wenn eine Katze doch einmal darauf landet, wird die Oberfläche zwar warm, aber nicht so heiß, dass sie sich die Pfoten verbrennen könnte. Genau das wollte ich erreichen. Das Produkt macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck, erfüllt seinen Zweck zuverlässig und gibt mir ein deutlich besseres Gefühl. Ich kann diese Abdeckung definitiv weiterempfehlen.
