Works as advertised
Plenty of power to run our well pump. Nice remote screen to view input and output power. Instruction manual lacked information on the power button on remote screen and on/off toggle switch. If you use one or the other to power on the inverter, you need to use the same switch to power it off.I learned from experience on pure sine inverter, average multimeter does not work correctly. I purchased a multimeter with True RMS technology to test the 120v and 240v output.Very happy with this inverter!

Two bad ones......
I purchased the WZRELB RBP-500012S Pure Sine Wave 5000W inverter almost two years ago when I ordered a new van for a RV conversion. Unfortunately it took two years for the van to arrive. When I installed the inverter it would trip out when I tried to use a 900 watt microwave. The warranty ran out so I was out of luck. I built a spot and wired it for this unit so I figured I would just bite the bullet and ordered the same unit.It arrived and it is no better than the first one. I have worked as an electrician and built many RV's using inverters. I have more than enough battery bank with AGM batteries. The inverter would trip out with the battery voltage above 13 volts. It would stay on with lamps or other electrical loads as long as they stayed under 900 watts. So the unit is working and installed correctly, it just can't handle more than 900 watts. It comes with a package of fuses, if you have one of these I hope it never blows a fuse, it is almost impossible to replace them where they are located. Customer service is a China phone number. You might be lucky if you buy one but I think it's better to look at a different company.

Works Well....Excellent Value
Bought this not so much for the 5000W continuous rating but to be able to start up motor loads like washer, gas dryer, large refirigerator, air compressor, portable a/c unit....and it works perfectly. I can even run washer and gas dryer at the same time. Have been using it a few months now with no complaints. Couple minor issues...the unit came with two sets of 18inch 16mm2 connecting cables but user manual recommends three sets....also the ac voltage amplitude fluctuates +- 2volts when washer is running....I contacted Reliable and they sent me a third set of cables free of charge and said voltage fluctuation is normal....so I am very happy with the unit so far! Word of caution...to start large motor loads, the extra battery cable and large battery bank are necessary to prevent excessive DC input voltage drop due to large initial surge current on the DC side. If running battery cables more than 18 inches from battery bank, a properly sized cable set would be needed for proper performance.

Overall, Not Bad! Read on for help setting up!
To start, ill say i ordered this in a used like new condition off amazon. I unfortunately received the item in damaged condition. (But keep reading, it will get better) It was not in its original packaging, most likely resulting in the damaged that had likely occurred in shipping. This is likely on amazon, or the original owner, not the company. Also, two of the four battery crimps on the wire had been ripped off (likely the original purchaser). The unite itself was dented in the rear, had some scratches around and the terminal block on the front (for direct wiring a socket) was also damaged, i have green tape over the one part (as seen in the picture) for safety until a new one arrives. I reached out to amazon for help in the damages and they were happy to compensate me on them. I was willing to live with the dents, scratches, wire repair, and replacing the terminal block on the front. I later reached out to the manufacture to purchase another terminal block, and they were very quick and willing to help (although remember they are on a different time schedule, my emails normally came in at 2am). After fixing the wire, i went to work on testing the unite! To say its a powerhouse would be correct! See the attached photos for the setup i did. This is mainly used as a backup system for our house. But its used 24hrs a day still running our chicken coop, security cameras, and phone.About the set up -I used their included wire (4 pieces) to wire up 2 batteries (not pictured) to go to each bus bar. then 1 awg from the bus bar to the unite. PLEASE NOTE - The two battery leads they send or 1 AWG is not enough to constantly supply 5000 watts! 5000w / 12.5V = 400amps! From what ive seen 1Awg is only rated at a MAX of 200 Amps, and i Think 150 Amps is more recommended. So you would need 2 strands of 1 awg or a bigger wire yet to be sufficient for the amps this unite will pull! Its also noted in the manual you should have a MINIMUM of 400ah worth of battery bank. If you do not have sufficient wire or battery bank, you will not get the results you are hoping for. This being said, ive had 300ah hooked up at one point and could run our inflatable hot tub AND a heat gun. The only point it cut out was because the batteries could not put out enough amps and keep the volts up.I really hope this is helpful for someone, ive been running it now for a few weeks no problem. Ill update if anything big changes!

Amazon won't issue my return money
I bought many of these inverters for my customers, no problems at all until now. This one failed. Opened it up to see if it had a blowen fuse. No blowen fuse.No if they didn't want me to open the inverter why send spair fuses. Contacted Amazon for a replacement, went through the process and was told I could only get a refund. Sent it back, and now was told issue can't be provided. Won't by anything from Amazon again.

It feels robust
I didn't have the chance to connect it to the real thing, however, I tried it with different household artifacts at the same time and it seems to hold the voltage very stable. I connected a heat gun and a soup maker and it only dropped voltage by 0.2. I believe it's going to do very well for my off grid project. It feels robust.

Did not work
The inverter could not handle big surges of power. I would run a saw and it would trip. My 1500 from Canadian tire is better

Retrevni
Got my father this upon request. Was told he slept head at the foot of bed, turned the TV upside down, paid customers what they owed him and went camping driving the entire time in reverse. Apparently legit product.
