Kuhn Rikon Original Swiss Peeler

It's great, I'm sure, haven't used it yet. Love anything from America's test kitchen.

This peeler works well for most peeling work. I was even more impressed when I used it to peel boiled jalapeno peppers. We make salsa once or twice a week. The hardest part across years of doing this has always been the peeling of the jalapenos. NO MORE... this baby glides across the surface gently removing the skin and nothing else!!! We would buy this over and over again even without the Jalapeno Discovery and will say this: if you peel jalapenos then GET THIS PEELER. Buy one or more as a gift for the Mexican restaurant cooks you might know. Then we pop all the ingredients into our Kuhn Rikon chopping device, give it 5 pulls and DONE!

I was very disappointed in the actual size and quality of the Rikon vegetable peeler. It is way smaller than the standard peeler I already own. Furthermore, it does not feel sturdy, making it difficult to use.

I've been using Kuhn Rikon peelers for over 20 years and can't say enough great things. Not only do they stay sharp but they also last a long time. It's the only brand I'll buy and 100% recommend!!!!!

Everyone seems to recommend this peeler and with good reason. When new, it peels like a dream. We wash ours in the dishwasher rather than hand-wash, so it does tend to rust after a few months' worth of washes, but it's so inexpensive we don't mind too much getting a new one each year.

Love this lightweight little peeler that puts all the others to shame. Hard to believe this works so well. Getting one for Mom's stocking stuffer.

It’s easy to peel, potatoes, squash, cucumbers, carrots 🥕, etc. Fits my hand perfectly.

I've used this probably 3 times at most and it's already rusted. It has also felt dull from the start, which is ironic because we had an older version and I cut my finger using it. So I thought a new one would be sharper, but no, I believe it is actually more dull than the old one we replaced. Now I'm wondering if Kuhn Rikon either diminished their products, or if this is actually not a true Kuhn product?
